Piers Morgan SLAMS Mary Berry for using white wine and double cream in controversial spag bol recipe
The Good Morning Britain host believes his Bolognaise Morganaise with tabasco sauce and red wine is the ideal recipe
SELF-CONFESSED one-recipe cook Piers Morgan SLAMMED Bake Off queen Mary Berry for choosing to glug white - not red - wine into her Spag Bol recipe, then top it off with double cream.
The Good Morning Britain host was left shocked after a The Sun exclusively revealed a clip showed the culinary whizz shunning the typical deeper, richer flavour of red to pair with meat in a dish aired on her TV show last night.
Not afraid to mince his words Piers - who revealed the Italian-inspired treat was the only dinner he could make - ranted: "I hate to do this to Queen Mary Berry, but she's wrong about this."
He squealed: "What?! The only thing I can cook is spaghetti bolognese, it's called Spaghetti Morganese it has a twist to it, a kick.
"You do not, Mary Berry, with the greatest of respect, ever put white wine in bolognese."

"My secret is to make it even richer and use double cream."
After adding 150ml she added in double cream.
Shoe fans seemed to agree with Piers, with one writing: "It's actually just happened is right it's a first it's a miracle he's right for once."
Another added: " I'm with you. Red wine, and Worcestershire Sauce.White wine for the lady as The Pub Landlord might say. ."
While one loyal Bezza fan stuck up for her favourite chef and posted: " don't knock Marys Bolognaise until you've tried it Piers V Mary ..BOLOGNAISE OFF."
