Frustrated Susanna Reid threatens to gag Piers Morgan AGAIN as he claims women say ‘silly’ things
The controversial TV host came under fire from his female colleagues and show fans on Wednesday
EXASPERATED Good Morning Britain host Susanna Reid threatened to GAG Piers Morgan for the SECOND time after he cattily suggested International Women's Day allowed females to say "silly" things - especially about football.
The stress of the situation even caused one of her earrings to fly off on to the table as she shook her head at her colleague on today's show.
Piers' remark came after their co-host Charlotte Hawkins questioned why he put himself through the emotional turmoil of seeing his side Arsenal lose, as he arrived at the studio in a bad mood.
Arsenal suffered a 5-1 loss to Bayern Munich in the Champions League last night, meaning they were ditched from the competition and lost 10-2 on aggregate.
The fact today is International Women's Day added to the mix and fuelled the fire and he quipped to Charlotte: "That's the problem with International Women's Day - women say very silly things."
Referring to the hilarious moment when she gagged Piers at January's National TV Awards Susanna told him: "I think we have to get the gag out with Piers Morgan."
Yet eager to spark their regular flirty banter, Piers quickly replied: "Oh yes I thought you'd never ask!"

Returning to their spat, Piers continued to rant about Charlotte's comments and said: "She said a silly thing which only woman could have said.
"It was a silly thing to say - admit it?"
Clearly not willing to let things lie, Charlotte insisted: "If you're putting yourself through torment then stop it, it's no fun for the rest of us is it?"
Susanna insisted Piers' focus on solely women saying silly things was the "patronising" part of his statement.
Her hoop earring then clattered to the table as she shook her head at him - prompting her to remove the other live on air as she squealed: "One of my adornments has come off."
Piers then asked why Susanna hadn't gone make-up free for the International Women's Day episode to which she replied: "Because I look really rough without make up lets be frank."
Twitter fans were quick to agree with Susanna and pick up on Piers' views.
One simply wrote: "It's started... ," while another added: "Seriously is ever going to present the show without being offensive to women!? And no, I'm not a feminist!"
