Who is Katie Alexander?

Katie Alexander is a marriage counsellor from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.

She is the new girlfriend of TV presenter Eamonn Holmes.

As of September 2024, she is 42 years old, which means she is 22 years Eamonn's junior.

Katie is a divorced mum-of three who first struck up a friendship with the former This Morning star via Twitter in 2015.

The Sun revealed the pair then became close after Eamonn's split from wife Ruth Langsford.

Katie was previously married to her George Alexander.

They divorced in 2022.

Since going pubic with their romance, Eamonn and Katie have enjoyed trips away together.

In September 2024, the were seen jetting off to join a cruise in Spain.

A source told the Sun: “Eamonn and Katie have tried to keep their passionate relationship quiet but they were finally on full public display.

"It’s remarkable how quickly they have struck up a tight bond.

“And after a week at sea together, who knows what will happen next.

"Watching the couple together it is hard to remember Eamonn and Ruth being an item.

"But that is now ancient history.”

When did Eamonn Holmes split from Ruth Langsford?

In May 2024, Eamonn and Ruth shocked fans when they revealed that they were getting divorced.

Once known as "TV's golden couple", they were married in 2010 after being introduced by mutual friends in 1991.

A spokesperson told fans about their split in a short statement.

It read: “Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing.”

The pair hadn't been seen together for over two years, last appearing alongside one another in a skit on Instagram in 2022.

Pals told The Sun on Sunday how the couple "drifted apart".

Their work commitments “took them in different directions”, sources said at the time.
