This Morning viewers in hysterics as Gino D’Acampo says he wants a ‘sausage in the hole’ for dinner in innuendo filled cooking segment
Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were left speechless during his hilarious appearance
GINO D'Acampo had This Morning hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield in hysterics today during his innuendo filled cooking segment.
Holly got a fit of giggles after he revealed he would be making his version of a Toad in the Hole called "a sausage in the hole".
As the pair laughed, Phillip asked: “What makes it a sausage in the hole?”
Never one to take the bait, Gino said straight-faced: "It’s thicker, it’s tastier and it’s got fennel, it’s my interpretation of a Toad in a Hole.”
He then added: “When you go home and ask your wife, ‘what you do want?’ she says, 'I want a sausage in the hole’.”
Phillip and Holly then completely lost their composure but Phillip got it together enough to ask: "Shall we save him or let him dig a deeper hole?” before cutting to a break.
Things got even saucier during the actual cooking segment with Holly asking how "long and slow" they should cook the onions.
Viewers at home couldn't contain themselves at Gino's antics with many taking to Twitter to say how funny he was on the show.
One said: "Why is it that everything Gino says always sounds dirty 😂 #ThisMorning".
Another added: "Gino is cooking sausage in the hole for lunch😆😉😈damn but I love this guy #ThisMorning".
As he was caramelising onions for the gravy, Holly asked: "To get the onions that crispy, do you do that quick and fast or long and slow?"
He cheekily replied: "Whatever turns you on!"
Phillip then asked: "What would you prefer?" as Holly blushed while Gino declared: "That's a good question!"
Holly answered: "Well it depends on how long we've got!"
Earlier in the show Gino was late for his preview segment so a member of the production team stood in for him wearing a mask of his face.
Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis then did an impression of the famous chef saying: "This is Gino. We do the pizza, we do the pasta, everything will be coming for you later.
“My grandmother is fantastic, do not worry about it. I’ll be cooking up the best thing you have ever seen!”
Then Phillip sternly told the camera: “And a message to Gino: That’s what happens when you don’t turn up.”
