The new father previously revealed the deeply upsetting news his mother, brother and sister had all died within months each other.
In a statement Jeremy’s representative confirmed: “On Friday 3rd March 2017 Jeremy McConnell’s father passed away after a short battle of cancer.
“We ask that Jeremy is given space and privacy at this incredibly sad time.”
The tragic news came just weeks after Jeremy was reunited with his son Caben-Albi.
Jeremy has opened up about losing his mum and siblings in the past.
He said: “When I was fifteen I was at my cousin’s and my mum fell asleep.
“I got back about two hours later and she was gone – she had a brain haemorrhage.”
Within 15 months of his mother’s death, Jeremy also lost his brother and sister.
Jeremy continued: “Shortly after that my brother broke his neck in a motorbike accident.
“After that, my sister had a heart attack – she suffered with epilepsy. All in the space of fifteen months.
“Of course I miss them, I loved them dearly, but I think that’s what levelled me out a bit – I express myself the way I want to. I just grew up really fast.”
Jeremy recently relocated to Liverpool to be closer Stephanie and his son.
He shared the first picture of himself holding his first child this weekend.
