OASIS matriarch Peggy Gallagher has sold her holiday home in Ireland as concern for her health continues.

Peggy, who is mum to famous sons Liam and Noel, previously owned a house in Charlestown, Co Mayo, but has sold it for a tidy €300,000.

Regularly flying between Manchester and her Irish second home was thought to be taking its toll on Peggy, with the Oasis brothers growing increasingly more worried that she would be isolated away from them.

As she became less able to drive herself and visit the property, her visits have dwindled leading to her eventually parting with the home.

A local source in Charlestown told : "In recent years we'd hardly see Peggy here.

"I suppose she is getting older and decided to sell up because she was not getting the use out of the house that she used to be."

added: "The Covid pandemic changed things for a lot of people including Peggy.

"The last thing you want is to be stuck in isolation with no one calling to your door to see you.

"But also a lot of her old friends have passed on and most of her surviving family are living in England."

The property being sold comes as Peggy is believed to be the reason the two brothers have finally come back together.

After a 15-year feudNoel and Liam Gallagher have reconciled and are making a huge comeback with a 14 date UK and Ireland tour in 2025. There are also discussions about a possible headline spot at Glastonbury Festival next summer.

A source previously revealed: "Coming up to Peggy's 80th birthday last year, both Liam and Noel asked Peggy what she wanted for her birthday. Her reply was simple.

"She told her two sons, 'I don't want an expensive present, all I want you two to do is start talking again and stop all this nonsense.'

"Peggy never asked Liam and Noel to start playing music together again — but the two of them talking again led to the biggest music event of 2025 with fans around the  trying to get tickets to Oasis comeback shows."

Peggy has previously opened up about the brothers in the 2016 Oasis documentary Supersonic, where she said: "I think there was that bit of jealousy with Liam and Noel. Noel was beautiful as a baby and then Liam comes along, it takes the limelight off you.

"You could tell there was disagreement with them. I was glad they were in a band together. I would not have wanted Liam in a band without Noel but it all happened too quick."
