This morning ticket sites went into a meltdown as fans rushed to get their hands on a golden ticket to the Oasis reunion tour.

But many faced long queues to access ticket websites and once in, were then finding the site had crashed.

In typical British fashion, memes were popping up left right and centre, poking fun at the situation.

However, one post got everyone talking when it claimed that Oasis had broken up again.

The meme was poking fun at the queuing time for tickets being so long, that in that time the band had broken up again.

After this hilarious memes about waiting for tickets, and the booking sites' crashing, flooded social media.

Revellers also posted pictures of themselves in bucket hats - made famous by Oasis - as they tirelessly waited in a queue for a spot on the tour.

After a pre-sale on Friday - which saw some gig tickets re-listed for a whopping £6K - those awaiting the general sale were less than impressed.

One posted an image of an error screen to X and wrote: "Why is it that none of the online ticket retailers are prepared for the demand??"

A second moaned: "Chance of getting oasis tickets??? ZERO."

A third then sarcastically put: "Well done #ticketmaster #gigsandtours #seetickets already crashed for millions trying to log on for #oasis tickets - not like you didn’t know."

One then quipped: "2 brothers from a council estate in Manchester completely shut down and crash the internet."

Another then put: "Ticketmaster and #seetickets RIP."
