Jeremy McConnell left heartbroken after his dad dies following short battle with cancer – just days after he’s reunited with his baby son
The Irish reality star's mother, brother and sister all died within months of each other when he was a teenager
JEREMY McConnell has been left devastated after his father passed away following a short battle with cancer.
The Irish reality star previously revealed his mother, brother and sister all died within months of each other.
The tragic news comes just days after Jeremy was reunited with his baby son Caben-Albi.
In a statement, Jeremy’s representative told The Sun Online: “On Friday 3rd March 2017 Jeremy McConnell's father passed away after a short battle with cancer.
“We ask that Jeremy is given space and privacy at this incredibly sad time.”
Jeremy has previously spoken about losing his mother and siblings.
He said: “When I was fifteen I was at my cousin's and my mum fell asleep.
“I got back about two hours later and she was gone - she had a brain haemorrhage.”
Within 15 months of his mother’s death, Jeremy also lost his brother and sister.
Jeremy continued: “Shortly after that my brother broke his neck in a motorbike accident.
“After that, my sister had a heart attack – she suffered with epilepsy. All in the space of fifteen months.
“Of course I miss them, I loved them dearly, but I think that’s what levelled me out a bit – I express myself the way I want to. I just grew up really fast.”

Jeremy recently relocated to Liverpool to be closer to the baby son he has with Stephanie Davis.
On Saturday, the 22-year-old shared the first picture of himself cradling tiny Caben-Albi.
The intimate snapshot shows Jeremy holding the adorable baby close to his chest.
Wrapping his hands around his tiny body, Jeremy holds on tightly to his little boy – who he called “my new focus”.
Caben-Albi seems totally besotted with his father, starring up into his eyes as Jeremy looks down at him.
With their little bundle of joy their main priority, the couple are now determined to raise him together and give him the best upbringing they can.
