The announcement came after days of teasing from the pair, which saw a short clip of a sign in the style of the Oasis logo shared to both of their accounts on Sunday night, forecasting an announcement this morning at 8am.

Inside the Gallaghers’ Secret Reunion
Liam and Noel Gallagher secretly reunited for the first time in years to plan an Oasis comeback.
On July 24th, fans noticed that Liam Gallagher hinted at something big in the works when he replied to a fan saying he had a photoshoot scheduled for the day.
“There’s big things happening, but I can’t tell you. It’s so big, it’s gonna blow your minds, and I’ve been sworn to secrecy. Sorry, hope you understand,” Liam wrote.
Sources told The Sun that the atmosphere was “electric” when the siblings finally met in the same room.
Liam, 51, and Noel, 57, quietly came together for a historic photoshoot, which will accompany the posters for their upcoming tour next year.
“It has taken a lot to get them to this point, but they’re doing it for the fans,” the source added.

30th Anniversary of “Definitely Maybe”

The iconic album will be reissued on Friday, August 30, 2024.
Music streaming platform Spotify has already offered fans the chance to pre-save the album.
It will include unheard renditions of Live Forever, Cigarettes & Alcohol, and Rock ‘n’ Roll Star.
They were recorded in Monnow Valley Studios in South Wales, and Noel previously revealed that the tapes had disappeared.
Oasis reassure fans
Oasis have sought to reassure fans that everyone who completed the ballot form will receive a confirmation email.
Many fans are worried after not receiving a link confirming their place in Friday’s pre-sale.
The band attributes the delay to an “unprecedented volume of entries.”
Little by little
The Sun reports that brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher are still “a long way off being friends” but were unable to ignore the prospect of a £50 million payday.
The pair haven’t shared a stage since their dramatic fallout in 2009, which ended with a backstage fight in Paris and the breakup of the band.
A source told The Sun: “Noel and Liam are never going to be the best of mates and this reunion is them focusing on the music.
“The timing was right and their teams have worked hard to make sure everything is the way they both want it.”

Buying tickets (5/final)
- What might happen in the event a gig is cancelled?
The general advice on Citizens Advice website about ticket sales is that, if someone has bought their ticket from an official seller, the organiser will tell consumers how to get a refund if an event is cancelled or rescheduled.
People can also check whether the seller is a member of the Society of Ticket Agents and Retailers (Star).
Consumers may potentially have added protections depending on how they paid, for example if they paid by credit card they may be covered by Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act.
In general, when organising any concert, organisers may choose to have potential incidents written into their insurance policies that they could be covered for, if something did not go as planned.

Liz Ziegler, fraud prevention director at Lloyds Bank, said: “Hot on the heels of Taylor Swift’s record-breaking UK tour, fraudsters will be eagerly anticipating another run of sell-out shows next summer.
“Missing out on these landmark gigs would be devastating for Oasis fans who have waited so long for this reunion. But you can be sure that criminals are getting ready to ‘slide away’ with their hard-earned cash.
“Most of these scams begin on social media, where impostors create fake profiles to sell non-existent tickets. The simple rule for fans is always stick to official ticketing platforms and avoid deals which look too good to be true.”
Buying tickets (3)
- What if I decide to use an unauthorised platform to look for or sell tickets?
Selling tickets through unauthorised resale platforms will breach the terms and conditions and tickets may be cancelled. People can also run the risk of being scammed by going through unofficial routes.
Scammers will piggyback onto popular events and earlier this year, Lloyds Bank estimated that fans of Taylor Swift had lost more than £1 million to ticket scammers ahead of her UK tour.
Buying a ticket (2)
- Will age restrictions be in place?
Restrictions will differ between venues, so concert-goers may want to check for restrictions at the location they are planning to attend. Some venues, for example, do not allow children aged under five in reserved seating. Venues may also have rules around younger people needing to be accompanied by an adult.
- What if I need to re-sell my ticket?
Fans who can no longer attend the shows will be able to resell their tickets via Twickets or Ticketmaster Fan-to-Fan. Organisers say fans should only use official resale platforms. Ticket resales will be allowed at no more than the price that was paid – its face value plus booking fees.
Want to buy a ticket? Here’s what you need to know (1)
- Is there any way to boost my chances of getting a ticket?
Organisers have suggested that fans should sign up to official ticket agents ahead of time as websites will be very busy when tickets go on sale.
- How many tickets can I buy?
There is a limit of four tickets per household, per show. Organisers say only tickets bought through approved agents will be valid.
More dates to come
Tickets for the highly anticipated Oasis reunion tour are set to go on sale this Saturday morning, with confirmed dates in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin.
Insiders have revealed to The Sun that additional concerts will be added once these initial dates sell out.
A total of 1,066,888 tickets will be available across 14 gigs, but demand is expected to be four times higher.
Oasis won't be 'Rolling' into Glastonbury
Oasis have confirmed that they will not be appearing at Glastonbury or any other festivals next year.
There had been speculation that they might headline Glastonbury, which would have marked 21 years since their last headline slot at the festival in 2004.
Writing on Instagram, the band said: "The only way to see the band perform will be on their Oasis Live '25 World Tour."

“Successful applicants will receive an email with full access information the morning of Friday 30th August.

However, some fans have reported difficulties signing up, with the band warning of potential delays in receiving confirmation emails.
Noel Gallagher sighting
Noel Gallagher was photographed yesterday for the first time since he and his brother Liam announced the Oasis reunion.
The songwriter appeared relaxed, dressed in a grey polo shirt and jeans, as he emerged from a luxury 4x4 alongside a woman in a cream dress.
Reading Festival set the stage for Oasis reunion
Liam Gallagher dedicated the Oasis song "Half the World Away" to his brother Noel at the Reading Festival, shortly before the news that the band would reunite for a European tour next year.
Introducing the song, he told the crowd, “I wanna dedicate this song to Noel FG Gallagher.”

Legendary guitarist joins line-up
Bonehead has been confirmed to join Noel and Liam Gallagher on their highly anticipated 14-date tour.
The guitarist featured in the 90-second teaser video on the bands socials and was described by a source as being “ecstatic” at the reunion.

The 59-year-old is close pals with the brothers and played on Liam’s Definitely Maybe tour this summer after overcoming tonsil cancer in 2023.
Hotel chain accused of cancelling bookings
A hotel chain in Manchester faces accusations of cancelling bookings after the announcement of the Oasis reunion and relisting the rooms at higher prices.
Sacha Lord, the night-time economy adviser for Greater Manchester wrote on X last night that he'd been contacted by "several people" who were told their rooms had been cancelled by Maldron Hotels after a "computer error".
A spokesperson for Maldron Hotels stated that the issue was "an overbooking issue" and not an attempt to "resell rooms at inflated prices."
However, users on X have complained that rooms originally booked for £85 are now listed at £342.

Will the band play Glastonbury?
It’s looking increasingly unlikely.
While music lovers are speculating Oasis will headline the Pilton festival due to the fact their confirmed tour dates arrive just after Glastonbury is due to take place – from 25 to 29 June 2025 – there was a surprise announcement.
Minutes after the dates in UK and Ireland were announced on the official site, Oasisnet – which fans crashed after trying to get information – it was updated to say: “These dates will be the band’s exclusive European appearances.”
This would appear to rule out a Glastonbury slot, with Bruce Springsteen, Rhianna and Eminem rumoured to be headlining.
