BRITISH rap star Stormzy has told for Katy Perry to call him after the America superstar admitted she is a fan of his music.
The rapper, who's real name is Michael Omari, has become the first grime star to make it to the number one spot with his new album, Gang Signs & Prayer, but he already seems to have his eye on a new goal - to collaborate with newly-single Katy.
The Firework hitmaker might be inspired to create some new music at the moment after her split from actor Orlando Bloom.
Speaking to hosts Rickie, Melvin and Charlie on Friday, the Croydon-born rapper admitted: "I'm thinking Katy, phone me. Let's get in the studio, send me the rhythm.
"I'm ready when you are. I feel like right now we're just flirting from a distance."
Just days before, Katy had revealed that Stormzy was her favourite thing about Britain as she told Kiss FM: "Babes, a pop star loves a bit of grime. I respect him as much as Frank [Ocean] and Adele.
"I love people that are being themselves. Some of my biggest heroes came from the British music scene and still do."
Katy is currently focused on the release of her new single, Chained To The Rhythm, as well as her upcoming album.
But she most recently made headlines after confirming her split from Pirates of the Caribbean star Orlando Bloom.
The pair called it quits earlier this week after a video emerged of the lord Of The Rings actor getting close to another woman at a swanky party in LA.
While the couple released a statement saying they are "taking respectful, loving space at this time", Katy looks like she's following the mantra of "washing that man out of your hair" with the dramatic new hairstyle.
She was pictured at the Vanity Fair Oscars party on Sunday wearing her hair in a slick long bob.
Taking to Instagram, Katy posted a Boomerang video of her brand new 'do of a platinum coloured pixie cut with a long fringe.
Putting on a pout for the camera as her hairdresser flicks her hair back and forth, Katy captioned the clip: "cash me outside howbow dah S/O @mrchrismcmillan and @justinandersoncolor & @riderdyehair for that platinum status ".
The Dark Horse singer also took to Twitter to say the 'former lovers' are still friends.
She wrote: "HOW BOUT A NEW WAY OF THINKING FOR 2017 U can still b friends & love ur former partners! No one's a victim or a villain, get a life y'all!".
