Sir Tom Jones reignites 40 year feud with music rival by snubbing his offer of a truce and calling him a ‘p***k’
SINGER Sir Tom Jones has still got the hump with his rival Engelbert after 40 years — calling him a “p***k”.
The pair have been feuding for decades and Sir Tom has snubbed Humperdinck’s offer of a truce.
The Voice coach, 84, insisted: “There is nothing friendly about me and Engelbert because he is a p***k and you can quote me on that. We fell out years ago.”
Asked if he will see him during his upcoming UK tour, It’s Not Unusual and Sex Bomb singer Sir Tom replied: “No. He has tried but I don’t want to talk.”
In February, Release Me balladeer Engelbert told The Sun on Sunday he thinks Sir Tom has “lost his voice”.
He added: “I don’t think he’s got it any more.”

The Welsh lothario hit back: “I didn’t know he said that — it is the first I have heard of it, but he is full of s**t.”
The two stars used to share the same manager and appeared together on Humperdinck’s TV show pilot in 1969.
While the cause of the long-running rift is unknown, Sir Tom’s alleged former mistress Charlotte Laws claimed Engelbert flirted with her in 1979.
In 2015, Sir Tom said of Humperdinck: “Once a c, always a c.”
