England star David Beckham and his son Brooklyn walk out of North London pub after Welsh fans TAUNT him on St David’s Day
DAVID BECKHAM may have hung up his football boots but the former England captain still gets stick from rival fans – even in his local pub.
I can reveal Becks, son BROOKLYN and chart superstar and neighbour ED SHEERAN walked out of a North London boozer on Thursday after it was invaded by Wales fans.
The crowd had just watched a special screening of a documentary about Wales’s brilliant 2016 European Championship campaign called Don’t Take Me Home.
Their hearty renditions of national anthem Land Of My Fathers in the direction of Becks were made even more passionate by the fact they were also celebrating St David’s Day.
A source said: “The boys were enjoying a catch up when suddenly the pub was taken over by Welsh fans at around 8.30pm.
“They tried to remain discreet wearing beanies and caps but the supporters recognised them and sang Welsh anthems, buoyed by the fact the pub was decked in Welsh flags.
“It started to get a bit annoying, forcing Becks to call it a night.
"He couldn’t be bothered with it.”
The fans in the Shepherd’s Bush pub tried to tell Beckham about a video tweet sent by the English FA to their Welsh counterparts showing him scoring against them.
But he was unaware of the tweet and the Welsh FA’s response, which showed the current FIFA rankings, with England one place below Wales.
Brooklyn turns 18 on Saturday and his dad posted a tribute to him on Instagram, describing the youngster as his “best friend” alongside a pic of him as a toddler.
Given Brooklyn’s now old enough to buy alcohol, the youngster might have to get used to having his evenings tainted by football fans in pubs.

JOURDAN DUNN managed to brighten up Paris Fashion Week with a single outfit.
The model wore a rainbow crochet crop and trousers while attending a Balmain after-show party on Thursday.
She was joined at the bash by fellow catwalk stars SARA SAMPAIO and WINNIE HARLOW, plus rapper NICKI MINAJ, who was doing her best HONEY G impression.
The star whipped out her spare shades for the party, having earlier been snapped at the RICK OWENS show, sitting front row next to ALICIA KEYS while wearing a silver dress underneath her fur coat and a pair of extra-large wrap-around mirrored sunnies.
There wouldn’t have been a problem if the hip-hop star had found the runway show boring.
Nobody would have noticed her snoozing under those shades.

Boy band gossip
EXCITING news – Nineties pin-ups BACKSTREET BOYS are heading to the UK next year as part of their 25th anniversary gigs.
AJ McLEAN, HOWIE D, NICK CARTER, KEVIN RICHARDSON and BRIAN LITTRELL will have fans in a tizz when they return to Europe as part of a world tour.
Speaking at the first night of their Las Vegas residency, Kevin said: “Next year will be a big for us and we will be celebrating by going out across Europe. It’s going to be huge and our way of saying thanks to the fans.”
MEANWHILE, BOYZLIFE – BRIAN McFADDEN and KEITH DUFFY – have asked BOYZONE crooners RONAN KEATING and SHANE LYNCH to join their supergroup on tour.
I’m told the pair, who perform hits from their days in WESTLIFE and Boyzone, hooked up with their old mates and immediately discussed the prospect of joining forces.
A source said: “It’s just a possibility but it’s looking more and more likely Ronan and Shane could join for a few shows.”
C’mon lads, get involved.
Storm Force
AFTER one of the closest chart battles in recent history, STORMZY has ruled over RAG’N’BONE MAN to land his first No1.
The grime star’s debut album Gang Signs And Prayer has been fighting Rag’N’Bone Man’s Human all week, with both taking the lead at different points.
But in a last-minute surge, Stormzy has knocked him off the top by almost 4,000 sales.
In total the Londoner racked up an incredible 68,594 combined sales and streams, confirming he is one of the most exciting acts around.
Stormzy is also sitting top of the singles chart thanks to his Shape Of You remix with ED SHEERAN. After finding out the news, he said: “It hasn’t sunk in yet.
“Honestly, I wish I could take every person who bought and streamed the album out with me, have dinner with them, dedicate a whole night to them. I don’t take your support for granted. I can’t thank you enough.”
It’s well deserved.
