Fans gobsmacked as internationally famous DJ who plays to thousands across the world surprises 50 kids at a youth club
KIDS at a youth club where left gobsmacked as Fatboy Slim gave them the surprise of a lifetime with a private gig.
The lucky youngsters were left stunned as the legendary DJ, who usually entertains thousands at festivals and arenas, spun tracks just for them.
What started as a regular day at the youth club quickly turned into an unforgettable experience when Fatboy Slim, real name Norman Cook, appeared behind the decks.
The Brighton kids couldn’t believe their eyes as the music icon played.
Shocked faces could be seen in video on TikTok showing the kids buzzing with excitement.
Youth worker Florence shared the beautiful moment, and said: "So I had to work an evening tonight at the to support with information around substance use and drugs because that’s my day job.

"And they had like a DJ gig night. Super cute, love it for them. And suddenly I’m like woah this music is pumping. What’s happening here bro?
"And I go to the room that’s playing music and it’s f*****g Fatboy Slim performing a private gig for 13 to 19 year olds! Like what, what?"
Fatboy Slim was at the back of the room on a platform, and singing along to his track Sinner Winner, while encouraging the kids to crouch down before jumping up in sync with strobe lights.
People loved Florence's post, and one wrote beneath: "He's a good lad is Norman."
Another said: "What a legend (as you are too)."
Another said: "I believe this is what they call giving back also good tunes."
Fatboy Slim made a name for himself in electronic music by mixing house, breakbeat, rock, and hip hop.
He blew up in the late 90s and early 2000s with tracks like Praise You, Right Here, Right Now, The Rockafeller Skank, and Weapon of Choice.
Before he became Fatboy Slim, Norman was already in the music scene as the bassist for the British rock band The Housemartins.
The group had success in the 80s with hits like Caravan of Love and Happy Hour.
After The Housemartins split, Norman dived into electronic music and hit it big with his Fatboy Slim project.
His music videos, like the one for Weapon of Choice featuring Christopher Walken dancing, have become iconic and sparwned a number of copies in TV and movies including Love Actually.
Outside of music Norman was married to TV presenter Zoë Ball in 1999, and they had two kids before they separated in 2016.
