MOLLY-MAE Hague and Tommy Fury's split took fans by surprise but for those paying close attention, the writing was already on the wall.
The couple, who met in 2019 on Love Island, had been showing cracks for a while as their fairy-tale romance turned sour.
Molly finally threw Tommy out of their £4million mansion after confronting him about his cheating, which she believes happened "a number of times".
Even before it was confirmed that the boxer had been playing away, it seemed things were already looking shaky for the pair.
Relationship guru Jo Hemmings breaks down all the signs hiding in plain sight that the couple weren't going to last.
Commenting on their romance in the public eye, she said: "Everyone has to bear in mind that they're only 25, so they're a very young couple.

"But people are more invested in them than any other reality TV couple because they've lived out their relationship on social media.
"It means that everyone notices the slightest detail and analyses it.
"Molly-Mae has been leading this lifestyle, particularly, and she's spent time pretending everything is marvellous or putting her concerns out there. And people will pick up on that."
Solo Parenting
Since giving birth to daughter Bambi, Molly-Mae, 25, appears to have been left on her own to look after the baby.

Tommy, 25, has been away on various work projects since the daughter arrived in January 2023.
In a clip shared by the reality star, she opened up about struggling to make things work as a solo parent.
She told the camera: "I, to be honest with you, have been not feeling… like, I mean this week has just been a lot of emotions."
Tommy had been away a lot working on the audio version of his book.
"He's done it now and I'm so proud of him because I know that was a really big deal to him, but I have been solo parenting pretty much the entire week," she continued.
"Actually, I've been solo parenting for like, two weeks now, basically because Tommy's just been so busy.
"When he's home from doing work and stuff, he's so incredible and so helpful. He's such an incredible dad but I have been, this week just really… mum life has been mum lifeing."
Choosing to share her struggles looking after Bambi alone is likely to have had the opposite effect to what Molly-Mae wanted, Jo says.
"It may have come across as her saying she was the chief parent and as such Tommy was allowed to go away," she said.
"And that will have accelerated his behaviour because he knows she's at home with the little one.
"But what she was probably trying to do was to remind him they're in it together. That they have responsibilities as a couple to their child.
"Sadly, it's not had that effect."
Stark warning
Before the couple even met in 2019, Tommy's ex-girlfriend issued a warning to a potential love interest on the ITV2 show about his “controlling” behaviour.
Millie Roberts, then 22, had been in an on-off relationship with the boxer for two years and claimed he banned her from sitting next to men on planes as well as sending her menacing messages.
In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Millie said: “He’s really controlling. Whenever I would go out and if I wasn’t home by midnight he would text me ‘We’re done,’ ‘It’s over, on my mum’s life’ ‘You dirty cheat, you f***ing slipped up’ ‘I want nothing to do with you’ – he’s aggressive in how he talks to people.
“If another guy looked at me on a night out it would be a big kicking and screaming situation and if I stayed late at work he would accuse me of sleeping with someone.
“I went to Marbella on a trip with my friend who’s a social media influencer, that was the worst time of my life. He was so nasty and horrible to me the whole time I was on holiday – because I was in a bikini. I hated it. He was so nasty.
“He said to me ‘You’re just a f***ing scruff from Salford, ‘don’t think you’re one of them’ ‘when you come back home you’ll come down to earth’ ‘you’re a nobody, Millie’ – all because I was on this trip and getting attention.
“I never ever cheated on him or gave him a reason to be that way – that was the hardest thing.”
Millie decided to speak out to give Molly-Mae a warning about the man she had coupled up with on Love Island.
“I would say to Molly be careful and don’t ignore the warning signs. He’s very good at talking, he’s very smooth and calming, and he would talk his way out of any situation.
“Don’t ignore red flags when they come up. He will talk his way out of it. He would lie about where he was every weekend, he would say he was with his granddad but he wouldn’t be, he’d be out and staying in hotel rooms.”
When asked if she believes Tommy will remain committed to Molly-Mae once the show is over, Millie replied: “History says he won’t be loyal."
Jo said: "It could have been someone talking from a place of hurt and distress or it could have all been true.
"Either way, it's worth taking some note of what his former partner said. Perhaps Molly felt like she had tamed him from that behaviour.
"But we don't know if they had any incidents or not."
Sick lie
Another warning sign, before meeting Molly, Tommy told a girl he wanted to bed that his mum had died from cancer - despite her being alive and well.
Olivia Wells was texting the boxer when he made the bizarre claims as part of an attempt to chat her up over WhatsApp.
One text sent on April 4 said: “My mum is on her deathbed, I’m not going to be meeting anyone anytime soon.”
Another on April 24 read: "Her funeral in America is in two days, then she is being flown to England and that funeral will be in a few weeks.”
They were interspersed with Whatsapp voice notes where he detailed how he was desperate to bed her.
Olivia, then 19, from Loughborough, Leics, told The Sun on Sunday: “He’s a disgusting human being. It’s vile behaviour. To lie about your mum dying is the lowest of the low . . . I’ve blocked him and don’t want anything to do with him.”
While it was before his stint on Love Island, it showed his willingness to lie to get what he wanted.
Jo said: "I would be deeply concerned about being with a man if I thought a shred of this was true because that is pathological lying as a means to an end. He was using that lie as leverage.
"I find that really shocking, that she would have overlooked that or that he could have even behaved like that.
"There are a lot of red flags in his alleged behaviour. People don't tend to change their behaviour. They might stop for a bit but they can't sustain it."
Sex drought
While having a baby can impact your sex life, most couples will do all they can to get one back on track.
But Molly-Mae revealed that the pair hadn't enjoyed any intimate relations for almost a year.
Taking to her YouTube channel and speaking candidly about the couple's relationship, she said: “Tommy and I, Since having Bambi, so coming up to a year now.
“Tommy and I haven’t had any proper time together, we have date nights and go to the cinema but I don't really feel like that counts as proper time as a couple - like adult intimate nice quality time together.
“And I feel like we haven’t done that coming up to a year now.”
Intimacy is a key part of a relationship and Jo warns that when it goes, couples struggle to come back.
"This was the biggest sign to me that things weren't OK," she said.
"It's not uncommon for couples to not have sex after a baby but they do other stuff to bring back the intimacy.
"But I got the sense from Molly-Mae that they weren't even doing that. There seems to be a yearning from her side for it but perhaps he can't see her as anything more than a mother.
"Considering this was a couple who had huge sexual tension when they got together, not having any suggests that it's gone wrong.
"For such a young couple it's a huge red flag."
Partying rows
Despite becoming a dad, Tommy seemed unwilling to settle down and was still out partying while Molly-Mae was at home looking after Bambi.
His trip to Dubai where he was seen raving with Chris Brown and talking to other girls, left the influencer “mortified”.
“This weekend has ended up being a real embarrassment to her,” a source told The Sun, adding that it’s “no secret she doesn’t like it when Tommy parties too hard”.
Molly-Mae — who stepped down as creative director at PrettyLittleThing in June — was reportedly “mortified” when she “kept getting tagged in videos” of Fury’s partying while she was with their daughter.
The boxer was already in hot water for his boozing antics before the trip in November.
He opted to have a wild night out in Abu Dhabi in 2023, with footage showing him getting topless and eyeing up girls.
Once again, Molly-Mae had been left behind in Manchester to look after their daughter.
'Molly and Tommy appeared to be picture perfect, their break-up was completely unexpected'
BY Ellie Henman, Bizarre Editor
GASPS of horror echoed around our desks as Molly Mae revealed she had split from Tommy.
The break up, after five years, was completely unexpected.
In recent months, the pair had faced rumours he had a roving eye after he was spotted partying with women - all while Molly-Mae was at home holding their baby.
Her statement smacks of something that has yet to come to light.
Although she’s written it with a clever PR eye watching over it, Molly’s devastation spills out in every word.
As I type, my WhatsApp groups are flashing up with texts about how this seemingly rock solid couple have crumbled into nothing.
Just three weeks ago, Molly posted a video of the moment Tommy proposed – after he pulled an elaborate stunt which ended up with him getting down on one knee.
The pair’s relationship, complete with Love Island fan-favourite Ellie Bellie and, later, the arrival of their daughter Bambi, appeared to outsiders to be picture perfect.
Molly has built her brand around her wholesome family life with Tommy.
Cosy photographs are carefully curated for her Instagram grid, with her 7.9million followers poring over her every word as they attempt to emulate her life.
In truth, Molly is one of the only Love Islanders I, along with a number of my friends, follow on social media for her girl next door vibe and stylish fashion picks.
Celebrity breakups are often ten a penny, but there is something shocking about the ending of what, on the surface, appeared to be such a happy relationship.
Earlier this year, at Soccer Aid, Tommy was cagey when asked about their upcoming wedding plans by one of my colleagues.
It wasn’t altogether too strange, as most blokes aren’t overly keen to chat about their missus when they're with their mates playing football.
But it was a definite gear change from the Tommy many of us have interviewed over the years, as he was always so gushing about his bride-to-be.
Thousands of Molly-Mae’s fans, and no doubt a number of Instagram and Tattle Life sleuths, will now be combing the internet and social media for clues.
And given the number of calls coming into our desk, I have no doubt that the real reason Molly-Mae ended things with Tommy will come to light in the next few hours.
As a genuine fan and follower, I really hope she is being supported by the people who love her most.
Break ups suck at the best of times. But when you’re in the public eye, and you choose to announce your split so suddenly – and clearly without mutual consent – they are a hell of a lot harder.
At the time, a source told The Sun: “She has told Tommy it really has to stop now he’s a dad and has told him to ditch some of his pals, who she thinks are a bad influence.”
Jo said: "This shows that he is pulling away from her. It also shows his immaturity and that he clearly wasn't as ready as he thought to settle down and have a family.
"I'm not surprised it upset her as being left home alone with a baby is a lot of work."
Growing apart
Tommy was regularly abroad in the Middle East for boxing matches while Molly-Mae stayed at home.
In fact, Tommy temporarily moved out of their home for ten weeks to focus on training and mindset before he bought with KSI on October 13th last year,
A friend revealed in May: “They are spending time apart quite a bit. They are leading quite separate lives.”
Molly-Mae is much more of a homebody, opting to stay in Manchester with their daughter.
She was said to have claimed she didn't “know where he is going” a lot of the time when Tommy headed abroad.
It's a stark difference from the beginning of their relationship when the couple appeared to be inseparable.
Jo said: "Maintaining long distance is hard when you're just managing two careers but adding a baby makes it harder.
"You have to have a clear plan to make it work and say no to spontaneous work. But it looks like Tommy hasn't done that while she has.
"He seems to think he can do these spontaneous trips, and that will cause resentment in her and then he'll push harder for his freedom.
"And that makes the distance harder to get over."
Different goals
The pair had differing opinions on lots of issues, including children and career goals.
Molly-Mae had already worked to establish herself as an influencer before Love Island and planned to keep building her profile after.
But Tommy said he didn't see the point in the social media-based job.
“Social media isn't really my thing. I can't do it, I have to be up and about, doing something,” Tommy revealed.
“I've never understood it, because I'm not that way inclined. Some people are on to look at the life they don't have, and that's when they start to get upset and sad with their own lives.”
Molly-Mae is also not a boxing fan and hated watching him in the ring.
Another issue between the pair was how many children they would have.
Tommy has been vocal about wanting a large family, like his brother Tyson, who has seven children.

"I think at a push I could manage two. I think I could do it once more, maybe with the right support and doing things differently."
Jo said: "I think they could have got over the small things like their jobs.
"But their different views on children is a huge issue. Tommy had this fantasy about having four children but clearly had no idea of the reality."
Vanishing ring
Tommy proposed to Molly-Mae with a huge diamond ring back in July last year.
But Molly-Mae was spotted without the bling on numerous occasions before they announced their split.
She was seen without it in a YouTube video in which she said: "Guys, I don't really know what to come on here and tell you right now. I know how bad I look. Trust me, however bad I look, I feel 20 times worse.
"I have been going through it in more ways than one.
"I am hoping, in say about a week, I might be in a place mentally, physically emotionally where I can start filming some proper content for you guys again and get back on my channel."
She was also seen without the rock after Tommy's boozy night out with Chris Brown.
Fans were quick to spot when she went without the engagement bling and were left worrying about the status of their relationship.
She lasted posted a photo wearing it a week ago. Her two subsequent posts don't show it on her finger.

Jo said: "This was an easy way for Molly-Mae to signal things weren't quite right to their fans online.
"In itself, it isn't a huge issue but it does show that things aren't perfect."
