Emmerdale viewers left shocked as Rakesh falls out of an upstairs window as Jimmy King’s kidnap plot turns sour

EMMERDALE viewers were left shocked tonight after Jimmy kidnaps Rakesh and ends up pushing him out of an upstairs window in dramatic scenes.

While it all started off rather funny with Jimmy 'torturing' him by playing Aqua's Barbie Girl on repeat, things took a serious turn with Rakesh left bleeding after falling two stories.

It all kicked off during Tuesday night's episode when Nicola goaded Jimmy for not defending her after the fire Rakesh purposefully set left her disabled.

An angered Jimmy knocked Rakesh out and tied him up in a chair at The Mill house.

When he wakes up, Rakesh thinks Jimmy has found him but is surprised to discover he was the one who kidnapped him in the first place.

As Rakesh mocks Jimmy for pretending to be a 'gangster', he ends up 'torturing' him by playing Aqua's album on a loop.

Jimmy then pours what he believes to be White Spirits around Rakesh as threatens to set him on fire.

Rakesh quickly realises it's only water which angers Jimmy even more.

As he calms down, Jimmy pours his heart out to Rakesh about Nicola's accident but Rakesh unties his hands and lunges at Jimmy.

Jimmy isn't prepared to let him escape and pushes him onto the wheelie chair which goes through the window frame which hasn't had any glass fitted yet .

while many were shocked by the epic twist, some viewers thought the plot was hilarious, with many taking to Twitter to voice their opinion on Jimmy's unorthodox kidnapping methods.

One wrote: "Jimmy holdin rakesh hostage. who's he think he is. The mafia 😂 😭 😂 😭 😂 #emmerdale".

A third wrote: "Jimmy does intimidation about as well as a ball of feathers slowly drifting towards you #Emmerdale".

Others were left shocked by Rakesh's fall after expecting Jimmy to let Rakesh go.

One said: "OMG I was not expecting Rakesh to go through the window #Emmerdale".
