Devastated Towie star Jamie Reed is comforted by Danielle Armstrong as he opens up about split from Amber Turner
DEVASTATED Jamie Reed has been comforted by Danielle Armstrong after splitting from long-term girlfriend Amber Turner.
Amber revealed earlier this week that she’s single after the pair parted ways.
She also denied sleeping with Dan Edgar after they were linked after filming new scenes in the exotic location earlier this month.
Jamie took to Twitter to post a cryptic quote which read: “If you succeeded in cheating someone, Don’t think that the person is a fool…Realize that the person trusted you more than you deserved!”
Danielle quickly responded saying: “Hope your good babe 😘 xx (sic)” and he replied: “I’ve been better dan xx”.
Danielle then said “@jamiereed_ I can imagine babe, be Strong you will come out on top anyway 😉 #karma🙌🏻”.
Sharing her reply, he wrote: “Thanks for the support babe, I know it will all work out for the best. Time to move on 😘”.
Danielle has had her fair share of relationship drama after splitting from Jame Lock and then leaving the ITVbe show.
However, she’s now happily in love with boyfriend Daniel Spiller.
Meanwhile, Amber has revealed she’s happily single, but slammed claims she took her friendship with Dan to the next level.
She said in her Reveal magazine column: “You’ll see Jamie, who I dated for four years, on Towie, but we’re not together any more and I’ve moved back in with my parents.
“There were rumours I cheated on him with Dan Edgar in Tenerife – I want to shut that down now.
“Nothing happened, we had only just met! I also said I thought Dan was good-looking – I was still with Jamie at the time, but it’s not against the law to say someone is good-looking.”
The star hasn’t ruled out a romance with Dan however, and said while she wants to stay single for now, she’s “having a laugh” with the hunky star.
The star also took the opportunity to shut down rumours of a past romance with Joey Essex, insisting she didn’t even know him.
It comes after it was claimed Dan spent the night with newcomer Amber behind Jamie’s back – months after he split from his childhood sweetheart Kate Wright, who has since been liked to Rio Ferdinand.
Dan jetted to Tenerife to film the Towie special a few weeks ago, after struggling to come to terms with the end of his relationship with Kate.
There, it was claimed newcomer Amber, 23, caught his eye, despite her being in a relationship with boyfriend Jamie Reed, 34, at the time.
Amber and Jamie have lived together for two years and dated for four – and Jamie had even told friends he was hoping to propose.
A source said: “One night in Tenerife rumours started to whirl among the cast that Amber had gone back to Dan’s room after a night out.”
Club promoter Jamie previously starred on the show in 2012, and was known for his wild partying.
Meanwhile Megan’s BFF Amber isn’t a stranger to the show either.
