Who will take over the Queen Vic if Mick Carter loses the pub in EastEnders?
With Mick Carter facing financial ruin Walford's boozer could soon be up for grabs

EASTENDERS is set to air one of its most shocking stories ever when Max Branning targets the Queen Vic pub as part of his revenge plot against Walford.
The businessman - who is played by actor Jake Wood - has been secretly scheming to destroy Albert Square's community ever since he was framed for the murder of Lucy Beale.
Viewers watched last month as Max, who has been forgiving to all of Walford's residents to their faces, unveiled his plan as he stood next to a mysterious business partner.
The businessman, described in the credits as only Chairman, Weyland & Co, told Max: "That's where I grew up over there. Deprived, depressed. Not many people got out of there, believe me.
"But look at it now. Brimming with potential... new housing, thriving businesses. Finally it's a place where people aspire to live.
"The trouble is too many people have a foot in the past. They can't see the big picture. From what I hear, you're going great guns."
"Yeah, I'm getting there," replied Max as he confirmed his next target was the Queen Victoria.
"Well that's next on my list," he said. "Let it burn for all I care."
But, providing the Queen Vic isn't literally burned to the ground, who could take it over once Danny Dyer's character Mick Carter loses it?
THE MITCHELLS
EastEnders fans would go wild for a return of the Mitchells in the pub.
While they weren't the original owners, there is no-one else more iconic in the pub than Peggy Mitchell.
With her now dead the mantle as Matriarch of the Mitchells falls to Phil's wife Sharon (the less said about the dear departed Ronnie and Roxy and the still living Sam, the better) and she is a formidable landlady.
If anyone could whip the pub into shape, it would be her. Though putting recovering alcoholic Phil back in the pub would be slightly concerning.
VINCENT HUBBARD
As one of the few people in Walford who can actually afford to live there, Vincent Hubbard is also one of the few people who can actually afford to buy the pub.
With all the leaks - improbable as they are - the Vic is probably going to need a small fortune spent on it to make it habitable again and Vincent definitely has the cash.
Unfortunately it seems Vincent has his hands full with The Albert and so won't be taking on another booze-flogging palace.
JACK BRANNING
Jack's already got business interests everywhere with his various ventures and those flats he rents out for impossibly high prices.
So wouldn't he be the perfect new owner of the Queen Victoria Public House?
He has the money, he has the family connection through late wife Ronnie Mitchell, and why wouldn't he take on a thriving business?
Presumably his own brother buying the pub might make Max think twice about destroying the pub and his family, right?
- EastEnders airs Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday nights on BBC One
