THE wait is almost over for Ariana Grande’s British fans – as I’m happy to report she is about to perform here again for the first time in five years.
I can reveal the American hitmaker is currently in the early stages of planning a mini-tour with a scattering of giant gigs around the globe.
Her last gruelling trek, 2019’s Sweetener world tour, saw her on the road for ten months and playing 97 arena-sized shows.
A source said: “Ariana really wants to get out there and perform for her fans but, at the same time, she hates life on the road.
“It may sound glamorous touring the world, but in reality it can be draining and you don’t actually get to see much.
“Right now, plans are still in their early stages, but Ariana is determined to play a series of shows during 2025.

“One option that’s on the table is to do a handful of stadium gigs — that way tens of thousands of her supporters can see her without her having to do night after night after night at smaller arenas.
"She’s never done UK stadium shows before. If she does, it almost certainly would be at Wembley and then the Etihad up in Manchester.”
Teasing plans to hit the road, Ariana said: “I think it’d be a really lovely idea to be able to trickle in some shows in between the two Wicked films.”
Meanwhile, Ariana also plans before the end of the year to release a bumper deluxe edition of her latest album, the No1-selling Eternal Sunshine, which she put out in March.

She previously dropped a “slightly deluxe” edition which included collaborations with Mariah Carey and Troye Sivan.
Break-up
Ariana managed to stay pretty much off-radar when she relocated to London for more than a year while shooting upcoming movie blockbuster Wicked.
She will play Glinda The Good Witch in the two-part film adaptation of the hit West End show.
During filming, she was living with her then husband, American luxury property broker Dalton Gomez.
But their break-up and divorce last year inspired Ariana’s latest album.
Part one of the musical fantasy movie drops on November 22, while the second part is expected to follow a year later.
