Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s son Pax suffers ‘complex trauma’ in horror e-bike crash
ANGELINA Jolie and Brad Pitt's son Pax has been released from the ICU after he suffered a head injury in an e-bike crash.
The 20-year-old reportedly suffered complex trauma as a result of the accident, which occurred in Los Angeles last month.
"Pax has been released from the ICU. He suffered complex trauma, and now begins the long road of recovery and physical therapy," a source told .
Pax was driving his electric bike in Los Angeles on July 29 when he crashed into the back of a car, according to law enforcement sources.
Paramedics rushed Pax, who was not wearing a helmet, to the hospital after he reportedly complained of head pain.
The source told People both Pax and Angelina, 49, are "deeply grateful for the quick and life-saving action of first responders and the outstanding medical care he received."
They added that Pax's siblings "have been visiting and helping" during his stay in hospital, adding, "They are all very close."
Angelina shares five other children with ex-husband Brad, 60, including Maddox, 22, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and 16-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
Pax was adopted by Angelina Jolie during a visit to Vietnam in 2007.
The Fight Club actor formally adopted Pax in 2008.

His alleged comment alluded to the 1999 Columbine High School shooting, when two 12th grade students shot and killed 12 children and a teacher in Colorado.
Angelina also told FBI officers that Brad yelled at her, "grabbed her by her head," shook her, "pushed her into the bathroom wall, and punched the ceiling of the plane multiple times.
She added that Brad's outburst left their six children, who were between 8 and 15 years old at the time, terrified.
