Hollyoaks spoilers: Trouble ahead for Joel Dexter as Warren Fox gets closer to discovering his involvement in Katy’s death

JOEL Dexter is in a sticky situation in Hollyoaks this week as his dad Warren Fox is coming closer to discovering his role in his aunt Katy's death.

Joel and Bart McQueen, who returned to Chester recently for Celine’s funeral, supplied Katy Fox with the heroin that killed her.

Trainee priest Joel panicked earlier this week when Warren was desperate to find Shane, threatening Goldie to help him.

However Joel colluded with Cleo to steer him away from Shane, and from learning his killer secret, that he was involved in Katy's death.

Now Joel has even more reason to worry. Tonight Warren will find Bart in a crack den and give him just 24 hours to find Shane for him.

Meanwhile tomorrow night Warren will ask his son, Joel, whether Bart killed Katy. But viewers know that involvement in Katy Fox's death by heroin overdose is shared between Bart and Joel.

Shane has already threatened the reveal Joel's dark past to his father, threatening to show Warren footage that links Joel to the scene of Katy's death.

Shane lost patience with Joel last month and sent the video to Warren, who had never had any inkling Joel and Bart might have been involved in his sister's death. But Warren has not yet put two and two together about his son's guilt.

Rory Douglas-Speed, who plays Joel, has spoken about how exciting he found the twist that linked him to the death.

He said: “It was a bit of a shock but it was great, because it was just more and more that I could add to the character.

"Obviously my initial thought was wondering would Warren find out. Now it's all coming to the surface, it'll be interesting to see where it goes and how the character changes.

"If Warren finds out, I can assure you that it'll be quite a dramatic scene. It'll actually be quite nerve-wracking to find out how Warren reacts."
