David Bowie’s lawyers urge singer’s secret love children to come forward and claim part of his £80million fortune
Late singer may have fathered a series of unknown kids due to his wild and 'promiscious' sex life
LAWYERS want any of David Bowie’s secret love children to come forward and claim part of his £80million fortune.
The legal team handling the legendary singer's estate for his family have issued an appeal asking for anyone who believes he is their dad.
Bowie had confessed to being "incredibly promiscuous" and bedded a string of women during the 1970s and 80s.
His famously wild sex life leaves open the possibility that he fathered a string of secret love children who must make claims against his estate before May 4th.
The legal notice published in The Times could also spark interest from former bandmates and musicians owed money by Bowie.
The notice gives Bowie's real name of David Robert Jones, who lived in New York, and asks for written claims to be made to Simkins lawyers in London.
The Starman singer has two known children - one child with each of his two wives.
Bowie died of cancer in January of last year, aged 69, and left half his money and New York apartment to supermodel wife Iman, 61.
Most of the remaining cash was divided between the couple's daughter Alexandria Zahra Jones, 16, and Bowie's fillmmaker son Duncan Jones, 45, from his first marriage to Angie, 67.
In a 2002 interview with Jonathan Ross Bowie described himself as "incredibly promiscuous".
He once bedded his landlady Mary Finnigan, and had flings with actresses Elizabeth Taylor and Susan Sarandon.
He met and married Angela, then 20, in 1970 with the pair both late to their wedding after having a threesome.
In Angie's memoirs she claimed Bowie had flings both with Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger and his wife Bianca.
Other Bowie lovers included singers Marianne Faithfull, Lulu and Ola Hudson, mum of Guns ‘N Roses guitarist Slash, actress Monique van Vooren and Oona Chaplin, widow of Charlie.
