BMW which Tupac was travelling in the night he was shot and killed is for sale at £1.2 million
Rapper died in 1996 at the age of 25 when his car was ambushed
THE car in which Tupac Shakur was killed has been put up for sale at £1.2 million.
The rapper died in 1996 after the BMW he was travelling in was ambushed on the Las Vegas strip.
The vehicle was riddled with bullets as Tupac travelled in the passenger seat while record producer Suge Knight was driving.
While the Death Row Records founder survived, Tupac died aged just 25 but now the morbid memorabilia has been restored and put up for sale.
However the new owner will be able to see some remains of the BMW's former life, as the indentations of the bullets are still visible inside the door panels.
The car - which has 90,000 miles on the clock - was initially impounded by Las Vegas Police Department after the killing, before being auctioned off and changing hands a number of times.
The sale comes just months after the gold and diamond pendant worn by the rapper was also put up for purchase at $125,000.

The large pendant, which bears a diamond-encrusted crown, was worn by the star when there was an assassination attempt made against the star in 1994 in New York City.
He was reportedly shot five times as he made his way into a recording studio in the midtown area of Manhattan.
According to at the time, the pendant was given to the dealer by family members and they would receive a majority of the profits from the sale - but came with a fixed price of at least $125,000 (£103,000).
Memorabilia dealer , who were hosting the purchase, revealed the significant dent in the pendant comes from where the bullet struck him in the chest.
The incident happened two years before the Las Vegas ambush which killed him.
