Tina Hobley is furious The Jump is still on TV as Vogue Williams signs up for next year’s series despite undergoing an operation for her knee injury
TINA Hobley is reportedly fuming that The Jump is still on telly despite the amount of injuries suffered by its celebrity contestants.
The former Holby City star, 45, was left with a dislocated elbow and injuries to her knee and shoulder after attempting a ski jump that the crew failed to clear on the Channel 4 show.
In stark contrast, however, Vogue Williams has signed up for the next series of The Jump despite undergoing an operation for her knee injury.
According to the , Tina isn't quite so positive about the show.
She said: "I haven’t watched the show. I have no interest in watching it."
And when asked whether she thought it was right that it was recommissioned, she gave a noncommittal answer.
This comes as Vogue signs up for the next series, according to the Irish Mail on Sunday.
She said: "It's been painful and I've had two hours of daily physio, but they have already said that I can go back."
Earlier this month The Sun revealed that Vogue was forced to quit this series of the show after suffering from a serious knee injury.
She sustained the injury while practising for the Ski Cross — which sees celebrities race around a track at speeds of up to 75mph.
Meanwhile Tina claimed in January that she was still using a crutch a year after her accident on the show.
She also admitted that she's been unable to drive, dress or wash without help.
Tina told : “It has been a really tough year, I’m not going to deny that.
“For much of the year I haven’t been able to drive, dress, wash my hair or have a bath unaided.
“I hope I won’t be left with long-term problems.”
Mum-of-three Tina also revealed the emotional toll of the injury, adding: “I’m very upset about not skiing with my children as I have been going for the last 30 years.”
