SCARLETT Moffatt had to think on her feet during her Saturday Night Takeaway debut after a live TV segment didn't go to plan.
The former Gogglebox star joined Ant and Dec on their hit TV show as it returned on Saturday night.
Tasked with finding three viewers to come and sit in the 'best seats in the house' Scarlett headed off in a helicopter in the hope of landing on a random street and picking a trio who were waving at their window.
After Ant and Dec told everyone watching to put on all the lights in their house, and stand in the window, Scarlett landed and headed out into a mystery road, but couldn't see anyone following the instructions.
As she ad libbed like a pro while the hosts watched from the studio, Scarlett was forced to go in and knock on a random door which had a light on in the living room, but still had the curtains shut.
Ant warned Scarlett the residents might not even be in or watching the show, but finally after an awkward pause, the home owner opened the door.
"Can you come to Saturday Night Takeaway?!" Scarlett cried at the bewildered man, who nodded.
"Well go put your shoes on, you can't come in your slippers!"
As the man half closed the door on Scarlett, Ant and Dec encouraged Scarlett to go in and find out what he was called.
Initially hesitant, Scarlett stepped in and thankfully, the man and his wife had been watching the show after all.
It wasn't the only slight mishap that occurred during the show, as the duo were forced to apologise after a viewer dropped the F-bomb during the show.
The girl was seen mouthing the word “f***” during a competition segment of the family-friendly TV show which saw Ant and Dec giving out golden tickets to their final show extravaganza in Walt Disney World, Florida.
Dec later apologised for the use of such bad language during the show.
He said: “I have to say we’re very sorry if somebody got a bit excited and said something they shouldn’t have… We’re very sorry.”
