Morgana Robinson reveals why she loves doing impressions of EastEnders’ Natalie Cassidy so much
MORGANA Robinson loves doing impressions of EastEnders' Natalie Cassidy "as she has the biggest heart".
The 34-year-old, who is a dab hand at pretending to be the Sonia Jackson actress, has declared that she is her favourite talent to do a turn of - and fans love it too.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun online, she said: "My favourite celebrity of all time to do impressions of is Natalie Cassidy. She has the biggest heart."
Morgana, whose lucky break came when she was doing some of her hilarious impressions in a cafe, will soon be back on set when the second series of Channel 4's The Royals airs.
She won critical acclaim for her role as Pippa Middleton, and explained at the time that going to boarding school allowed her to “channel all the girls I went to school with and basically put them all into one character.”
However, her own family is just as colourful as the Windsors', and just a few years ago she learnt that she had a secret half-sister, Distillers front woman Brody Dalle.
But while Morgana hasn't been approached with turning her own life in to a sitcom - or tear jerking drama - she doesn't seem opposed to it, telling The Sun online that she would like to play her sister so she could have tattoos.
Fans who loved her in The Agency, should look out for when she is a guest star in macabre series Inside No. 9, which she says is "my dream job of all dream jobs ever in the history of dream jobs in the whole wide world ever ever ever."
Big-hearted Morgana has also signed up to be a judge on this year's Red Nose Day Comedy Classroom competition.
Working with BBC Learning, the scheme has two categories, 6-8 and 9-12, and will send winners to visit the Blue Peter studio to see the programme and will receive an orange Blue Peter competition winner’s badge, a signed certificate and Comedy Classroom trophy.
Morgana said: "I didn't want to go in to comedy back then, I was only interested in horses - how simple life was!
"As a pupil, two words that cropped up a lot were 'ring leader' - I blame my height.
"I'm backing this campaign because humour is the best way to grab children's attention.
