HOLLY Willoughby and Phillip Schofield got the giggles on This Morning today as they tackled some saucy subjects with 'bonkbuster' author Jilly Cooper.

The pair burst out laughing as they chatting about swinging, strip poker and feather parties with the raunchy writer.

Jilly spoke to This Morning hosts Holly and Phil to talk about her latest book and her 80th birthday last week, and the talk soon turned to sex.

The writer talked about people who take part in swinging in the countryside, and she had to explain the concept of "feather parties" to the pair.

She revealed it is just like "strip poker" as the players shed a piece of clothing at a time when a feather lands near them,

After the hosts suggested Jilly could host a feather party to mark her milestone birthday, she invited the pair.

Holly said: "I'd love to [come along]" and Phil added: "I'll bring the feather."

During Jilly's turn on the show, they presented her with a special birthday cake inspired by the cover of her most famous book - Riders.

After Jilly's appearance, Phil joked to Holly: "So feather party in the summer..."

Holly, who was out partying at the BRIT Awards last night, then added: "She's just so amazing... so cool."

Phil said: "My favourite guest without question."

The comic relief for the hosts came after a heartbreaking segment which reduced the two presenters to tears.

They interviewed a mother whose daughter killed herself as a result of cyberbullying.

Holly and Phil both struggled to contain their emotions as they spoke to an emotional Nicola Harteveld ahead of her daughter Megan Evans’ funeral on Monday.
