Miranda Hart to make telly return for Comic Relief as panellist on Let’s Sing And Dance
The Call the Midwife star failed to return for the show's sixth series or Christmas special due to a mystery illness
CALL The Midwife fans were gutted when MIRANDA HART cancelled her comeback last year because of a mystery illness.
She had hoped to return for the sixth series and the Christmas special but was unable to.
The good news is she will make her long-awaited return to our screens soon, as a member of the judging panel on a Comic Relief special series of Let’s Sing And Dance on BBC1, featuring celebrity contestants.
An insider said: “Miranda had a rotten year after being ill and it’s great she can take part in Comic Relief.”
JULIAN CLARY and EastEnders’ star TAMEKA EMPSON are the other additions to the panel which will change each week.
They will join CLAUDIA WINKLEMAN, FRANK SKINNER and JENNIFER SAUNDERS.
I told you last week Nineties and Noughties stars 5IVE’s RITCHIE NEVILLE, DUNCAN JAMES of BLUE, Pop Idol runner-up GARETH GATES, S CLUB 7’s JON LEE, and PHATS & SMALL’s BEN OFOEDU are forming boyband BOYS ALLOWED to perform GIRLS ALOUD’s Biology on the show.

I’m looking forward to seeing this.
