Huge boyband announce surprise new music two years after last appearing together
RAK-SU are back with a bang after a two-year break from the music scene.
The popular boyband have delighted fans by announcing a new single.
The group, who won the hearts of millions during their time on X Factor, have been secretly working on a new project that promises to deliver the same vibrant and catchy tunes that catapulted them to fame.
Rak-Su's new song, Role Play, dropped on streaming services today.
Chatting about their return in a recent video on Instagram, lead vocalist Ashley said: "We've got loads of new music coming, because we haven't released in ages.
"We haven't just been sitting doing nothing, we have been making lots of stuff.

"We just had to figure out how we were going to get it to you.
"[We thought] instead of asking you guys what your favourite songs are, instead of making you have to pick, why don't we just give you all of the music?
"So from now on, you are going to be getting at least two to three songs from us a month until we are ready to release an album."
Band member Jamaal chimed in: "You know we've never released an album, so we've just been working in the background, just trying to make this thing work."
Rak-Su's surprise announcement has already generated a buzz among their fanbase, with many expressing their excitement on social media.
One exclaimed: "YES LADS!"
Another cheered: "YESSSSS FINALLY."
The R&B band was signed by Simon Cowell's record label Syco after they won X Factor back in 2017.
However, just one year later the music boss left Syco, and they were moved to a new label called RCA.
In 2019 Ashley Fongho said: "For any artist/label relationship to work it's going to have to be a partnership.
"I feel like for us, knowing what we want, it's really really nice to be in an environment where people are going to help to facilitate what we want."
He added: "Releasing the Rome EP on RCA, everything has been great. We said we wanted to release four visuals we wanted to do the EP and they just supported us.
"Whether (Simon's) had the chance to sit down and listen to it we don't know."
