Holly Willoughby makes sly dig at the BBC during caravan skit with Phillip Schofield on This Morning
Phillip locked Holly in a tiny caravan during today's show
HOLLY Willoughby made a sly dig at the BBC during a caravan skit with Phillip Schofield on This Morning.
Phil accidentally locked his co-host into a tiny caravan that was simply a bed and a TV which prompted her to shout something rather mean about their rival channel.
Holly hopped into the caravan to have a look and then asked Phil to shut the door but ended up locked inside.
As she got into the bed, she joked: "You only need to ask me once! I'd be quite happy in here."
Rather than help her, Phil continued to chat to resident consumer expert Alice Beer about the amenities in the caravan while Holly knocked on the window and tried to get out.
Phillip started laughing and said: "She can't get out, just leave her!"
Holly responded: "I can hear you!"
Phillip continued: "Once you're in, you can't get out" as the camera zoomed in on Holly peaking out through the tiny window.
He added: "And do you know what I have absolutely no intention of letting her out, I'm linking to the break on my own!"
As he outlined the segments for the rest of the show, Holly started shouting out the window and said: "We're not even watching This Morning on the telly in here. We're on channel 1!
She added: "Can you let me out now? I'm watching the BBC and it's horrible."
He then finally opened the door which caused the handle to break off.
Holly previously presented The Voice UK on the BBC but left after two years and was replaced by Emma Willis.
This Morning airs weekdays from 10.30am on ITV.
