Aaron Carter’s ‘attacker’ Haze Carbajal speaks out about assault claims – and demands APOLOGY for the ‘racial slur’ that sparked onstage fight

Haze Carbajal, who performed in Aaron's support act ILL state, is adamant that he didn't punch the singer and was offended by Bye Felipe jibe

THE SINGER who attacked Aaron Carter on Friday night has broken his silence on the incident - and has demanded an apology from the singer.

Haze Carbajal - who performs as part of band ILL State - has admitted that he pushed the star after hearing him say 'Bye Felipe' and assuming it was a racist jibe.

In a video obtained by , the performer admits he didn't realise the saying was a turn of phrase (and being the male equivalent of the off-the-cuff dismissal 'Bye Felicia') - and he still wants an APOLOGY from Aaron for the incident.

During the video, he said: "Bye Felipe – I automatically thought it was racist because, just for the fact that it’s Felipe, you know? Who says that? If he’d have said Bye Felicia then it would’ve been different, I’d have known what was going on, I wouldn’t have gotten offended, and he would’ve gotten on with the show.

He continued: “I felt like I need to do something? I couldn’t just let that s*** happen.”

Haze also maintained that he only 'pushed' him into his speakers and computer, not hit him like Aaron has implied.

"I went up and I pushed him, you know? I pushed him into his computer," he comtinued. "I don’t think that what I did was really that drastic, like super ..like ‘I’m going to go to jail forever, my life is ruined’, you know what I mean? I’m not that worried about it."

As the video continued, he said: "I want an apology myself for my group, and he was talking shit about my town you know, so I want him to apologise to my town or any Hispanics that he might have offended."

He finished as he added: "Aaron should watch how he talks to other people because hes not famous anymore and his security isn’t that good anymore – so maybe he should learn how to respect others."

Former child star Aaron was taken to hospital on Friday night after being attacked by the member of his support act over the alleged 'racist' remark.

However, Haze considered this to be a racial slur aimed at him as he is Hispanic, and later came BACK to the venue to confront the tattooed singer on stage.

Footage obtained by TMZ shows Aaron being pushed to the back of the stage as the man charges in his direction, as security desperately tried to regain control of the situation.

The I Want Candy singer was then taken to the nearest hospital after becoming bloodied in the confrontation.

Aaron confirmed the incident in a series of tweets posted on Saturday morning – including acknowledgment that it was sparked by the ‘Bye Felipe’ comment, and that punches were thrown.

The star also commented that he was not ‘beaten up’, rather punched several times by the man in question – and they didn’t touch his face.

He said: “Didn't get punched in the face. Look at my picture I just posted. Just stop. You guys are all wrong. This does not warrant an assault.”

Aaron added: “Everything is good for right now, police are investigating.”

He also denied that he was being racist with the comment, and fought back online at those who claimed otherwise.

Assuring fans he was OK immediately after the attack, he also re-tweeted messages of the support he’s been receiving from fans.

Posting a selfie of him in bed with his puppy, Aaron wrote: “Chillen w my boys before I finally get to bed... hospitals suck. & so do bullies. My face is still pretty though and untouched.”

He also wrote: “In the face of opposition I still try and promote LøVë”

Coincidentally, LøVë is the name of his current album, which was released last week.
