FORMER child star Benji Gregory has died at the age of 46.

Gregory, who starred in the hit sitcom Alf when he was a boy, was found dead on June 13 in Arizona.

While the cause of his death has not yet been revealed, the actor's sister told TMZ that her brother suffered from depression, bipolar disorder, and a sleep disorder.

Rebecca told the outlet the family is "grieving a great loss and appreciates everyone's thoughts and kind words."

Police told The U.S. Sun that the circumstances surrounding Gregory's death are still under investigation.

People close to Gregory suspect that he went to the bank on June 12 to deposit residual checks, fell asleep, and then died of heat stroke.

The Alf star's service dog Hans, who accompanied him to the bank, also died.

The star first posted a picture on Instagram of his adorable pug in March 2021.

The picture shows a close-up of his face, with the caption "Hans."

Gregory last posted a picture of a sidewalk with the caption, "Wish my dog, Hans, would grow out of this 'tagging' phase already."

The picture was posted on April 10, but fans who kept up with the actor's life found it strange that he hadn't posted since then.
