Amir Khan’s wife Faryal Makhdoom Snapchats daughter Lamaisah’s lavish £100,000 2nd birthday party – where ballerinas and Disney princesses danced for the crowd
AMIR Khan and his wife, Faryal, forked out an eye-watering £100,000 for their two-year-old daughter’s birthday party which featured Disney princesses and ballerinas to entertain guests.
The pair hit the headlines after splashing the cash to celebrate their daughter Lamaisah’s birthday last year – with her mum releasing a video of the lavish event this week on Snapchat.
The video shows an excited looking Lamaisah taking in the party in her honour.
Her parents take her around the dance floor as Disney princesses wave to the birthday girl.
Amir tells the camera: “The reason why it was so big, we wanted it to be special as the first birthday I was fighting so I didn’t really get a chance to celebrate that first one.”
At one point young ballerinas are seen performing, with Lamaisah wandering onto the stage to the delight of the party-goers.
She and her dad, Amir, take a spin on the dance floor after he gave a speech thanking the guests for celebrating his daughter’s birthday.
The pair danced to A Whole New World from Aladdin, as mum Faryal looked on with pride.
The boxer and his wife threw a party for 250 guests, running up a £100,000 bill to cover the cost of the bash, held at the Macron Stadium – home of Khan’s beloved Bolton Wanderers football club.
The party, planned entirely by 24-year-old Faryal, featured Peppa Pig and a jewel-covered cake.
Bolton-born Amir revealed all about the big day in an interview with Hello! magazine.
The 29-year-old Olympian said: “When I walked in, the first thing I said was, ‘Wow!’ My wife did an amazing job.”
He added: “I was busy training when she was planning this, but every day I was getting crazy bills and thinking, ‘What’s this for?’
“Every penny spent on my daughter is worth it, though. After all, all this hard work I do is for her, for my kid.”
Earlier this year the boxer was embroiled in a sex tape scandal.

His wife said: “I wanted it to be something really grand. Now I’m not doing anything until she’s 16.”
The 24-year-old New Yorker also revealed that she is happier now in the UK, after initially struggling with the move following the couple’s wedding three years ago.
She said: “I had a rough patch at the beginning when I got married to Amir.
“But as I’ve lived with him, he’s showed me a lot of things I didn’t know about him.
“He is such a good guy, such a kind-hearted person. He’s the type of guy that would give up things for his own happiness to make his wife and child happy.
“Now we’re at a stage in our marriage where we’re the happiest ever.”
She also said that becoming a dad had transformed her husband and had brought them closer together.
She added: “I’ve never seen this side of him. He comes home early – before he used to be out with his friends. But now he’s just like, ‘My wife, my child and home’.
“I have to say to him, ‘Can you please go out!’ It’s great for him and for us. He’s changed, being a father, and I’ve changed being a mother. My life is all about my kid.”
With the boxer planning to retire from the sport in a few years, he may end up spending even more time at home.
He plans to take up full-time work with his charity, the Amir Khan Foundation, when he finishes with the sport.
