This Morning’s Phillip Schofield cheekily insults Holly Willoughby as she pokes fun at his horror holiday while viewers celebrate their return
The pair returned to the ITV show after a week away - and lifted the lid on their contrasting holidays
HOLLY Willoughby looked ravishing in red as she made her return to This Morning with Phillip Schofield and jested about his nightmare Dubai break while she had been soaking up the sun on a ski holiday.
The presenting pair - and off-screen BFFs - returned from their annual Half Term break to the delight of ITV viewers yet their time away couldn't have been more different.
Cheeky Phillip told the Brighton lass to "shut your face" after she quipped her vacation had been pure bliss compared to his rain drenched family trip.
As they opened today's show, Phillip said: "For me it's VERY nice to be back.
"We went to Dubai and the weather was awful for the entire 10 days.
"Two sand storms - it was just horrible. Dubai is a lovely place, Dubai is just fantastic, but it's hard not to be miserable."
Holly, who had been on her sporting break with husband Dan Baldwin and their three children, was quick to quip: "Next time you need to go skiing!
"We went before Christmas and the kids had their first skiing experience. They loved it so much we went again."
Clearly still relishing in the post-holiday spirit she added: "Look at the sun Phil - look at the sun!
"It was just brilliant. We had an amazing time."
A third took to the Caps Lock key and posted: ";YAAAAAS HOLLY AND PHIL ARE BACK," while another enthused: "holly & phil are back on this morning yesss."
Another re-Tweeted a welcome back message posted by the This Morning account and added: "Yay! The funky crew are back! Always miss Phil and Holly when they are away, but appreciate them more."
Shortly before the show, Holly uploaded her regular Instagram post showing her outfit of the day, with today's picture showing her all smiles in the tight-fit gown with a plunging neckline.
Alongside the three different shots fans gushed about her resuming her presenting role with one putting: "Welcome back Holly you have been missed!!"

The mum-of-three took the week off work to spend time with her nearest and dearest, and she looked totally relaxed and happy on the break.
Stood in full ski gear with a pint of beer in hand, Holly flashed a beaming smile next to her other half.
The pair had a stunning backdrop for the snap, and both wore sunglasses in the blazing sun.

She followed up with a snippet of an Instagram video.
This time hogging the camera for herself, she filmed a selfie of he beaming face and her eyes wide in delight as the snow fell in the background.
Showing her talent at the French language Brighton lass Holly captioned it: “J’aime la neige,” translated as I adore the snow.
Meanwhile Phillip vented his frustration after his horror break by burning a crisp packet.
it seems he knows how to make his own fun and taking to Snapchat, Phillip posted a picture of a charred crisp packet and wrote: "When the conversation gets round to how we used to shrink crisp packets in the oven...but you forget at what temperature" followed by a laughing emoji.
He then shared a number of pictures of shrunken Hula Hoops packets as he got the hang of making miniature size crisp packets.
However, it all went wrong when he tried to do it in the microwave.
He shared a video of a red packet quickly exploding within seconds of him turning it on before the video cut off.
Phillip wrote: "Btw...don't do it in the microwave! Thankfully my finger shot off record so you didn't get the language".
