I WAS thrilled when I found out Renee Zellweger was back as Bridget Jones for the fourth film in the franchise.
But while I’ve loved seeing all the pictures from the sets dotted around London, not everyone is as thrilled.
My mole in the production has told me stars including Harry Styles and Rami Malek aren’t too happy after their posh streets became a filming hot spot.
Their annoyance only increased when the film’s bosses put letters through their doors asking them to either ship out or only come and go at certain times so they didn’t disturb the production.
My mole said: “The film is causing chaos in this part of North London where they are shooting a lot of the film.
“Neighbourhoods with stars such as Harry, Rami, Ricky Gervais and Rowan Atkinson, living there are all getting letters from the production about not interrupting shots.

It’s gone down like a lead balloon with some of them and of course some of the normal people who live and work there.
“The letters have informed them about when filming is taking place and they have been asked to either leave their homes during this time or not to come and go at certain times.
“It’s like they’re being held hostage by Bridget — and it’s driving everyone mad.”
I’ve got no idea what all the fuss is about — I’d be at the window with a cup of tea.

In Mad About The Boy Renee, right, as Bridget, will be seen getting to grips with dating apps following the death of her husband Mark Darcy, who was played by Colin Firth.
And lucky old Bridge will be seen enjoying a whirlwind romance with a much younger man, played by Leo Woodall from The White Lotus.
Sadly, the creepy Daniel Cleaver also makes a comeback.
If only they had killed him off instead and kept lovely Mark.
NOEL HAS BECOME A SNITCH
NOEL GALLAGHER has taken it upon himself to act as a minder for his celebrity pals’ kids.
The once notorious caner, inset, quietly reached out to Fatboy Slim to warn him his son Woody was “off his nut” at Glastonbury.
But Woody has insisted he was only queuing to buy food after enjoying the amazing set from The Streets.
DJ Woody said: “I was talking to my dad and apparently he got a message from Noel Gallagher who saw me at Glasto and said I was off my nut.
“I don’t know what to say to that…Being snitched out by Noel Gallagher. I wasn’t even.
“I was in the queue getting a panini – but apparently I looked like I was having a good time.”
DAISY EDGAR JONES got a surprise at the premiere of her film Twisters – Tom Cruise stopped by to show his support.
The Mission: Impossible actor is close pals with Daisy’s co-star Glen Powell after they appeared in Top Gun Maverick.
Onlookers told me Tom sneaked in a side door of the venue in London’s Leicester Square as he didn’t want to be seen on the red carpet because that would have taken the spotlight away from Daisy and Glen.
What a nice bloke.
MERYL IN PRADA 2
GIRD your loins . . . Miranda Priestly is back.
Almost two decades after movie The Devil Wears Prada was released, Meryl Streep, is set to reprise her role as the hard-faced magazine editor, rumoured to be based on Vogue legend Anna Wintour.
Disney is said to be developing a sequel to the hit film which will follow Miranda as she navigates her career in a new digital age.
Emily Blunt is also in talks to return, although her character, the perpetually hungry Emily Charlton, has now gone from Miranda’s embattled assistant to a high-powered PR exec.
HAPPY MONDAYS fans will be pleased to know Bez isn’t going to be retiring any time soon.
The maraca shaker said: “Anyone who’s stopped, they are finished.
“Carry on, because your body just goes into shock.
“Everyone I know who’s stopped has been really ill. And they die.
“Just don’t stop. That’s my motto anyway.”
I’ll bear it in mind.
CALVIN HARRIS has released a teaser of his new song with Ellie Goulding.
The Scottish superstar DJ gave the anthemic track a spin during his residency at Ushuaïa in Ibiza and fans have lapped it up.
Calvin and Ellie have not yet confirmed when the song will come out, but given how successful their last single Miracle was, I don’t doubt this tune will do just as well.
NAT WON’T MIX WITH TV SHOWER
NATALIE IMBRUGLIA isn’t Torn when it comes to turning down big- money TV offers, which have flooded in since she won telly contest The Masked Singer two years ago.
The Aussie has revealed she has rejected a number of shows – including I’m A Celebrity because she can’t stand the idea of being filmed in the shower.
In an exclusive chat, Natalie said: “I’ve always said no other shows.
“I get asked a lot to do I’m A Celeb and it’s always been a ‘no’.
“There’s no appeal for me to have cameras around while I’m showering, they lost me at that. The nakedness, the bugs on camera – even though I’m an Aussie – I don’t need that.
“The nakedness, the bugs on camera - even though I’m an Aussie - I don’t need that. I also don’t want to get into a barney with really hungry people, and no one needs to see me hangry either.”
Last weekend Natalie took to the stage at British Summer Time in Hyde Park, supporting country legend Shania Twain.
Though unlike Shania, who previously told us she swerves solid foods on performance days to keep her voice in top shape, Natalie admits if she did the same she would be so hungry she’d be in trouble.
She said: “I can’t do the no solids thing.
“I just wouldn’t be able to remember the words to my songs if I did that.
“Lightly salted corn thins with avocado are my go-to because, let’s just say, other foods when I’m jumping around the stage tend to come back and say hi.
“And I don’t drink before I sing. Some people do it to take the edge off, no judgment, but it’s better for me to wait.
“I’m a gin and tonic kind of girl.”
Join the club, Nat.
Suki’s a perfect ten
IT’S pretty apt that Suki Waterhouse is sitting by a number ten, because that’s exactly what she is.
The singer, who gave birth to her baby daughter with her fiance Robert Pattinson, earlier this year, is taking a well-earned break after a busy start to the summer with her music – and shared pictures from her girls’ trip on Instagram.
She hit back at her critics who rudely questioned her decision to perform in the US at Coachella six weeks after having her baby.
Suki said: “Everyone’s projecting something on to you. That’s an insane thing.
“Like, honestly, of course [I was thinking]: ‘Holy s**t, how is this going to work, is this even going to be possible?’
“You just have to go, ‘This is what we’re doing, this is what we’re about and f**k what anyone else thinks.’”
I couldn’t agree more.
Cat’s on Idris’s wish list
BEFORE filming for the new Hijack gets under way Idris Elba is focusing on music.
Fresh from playing Glastonbury, Idris told me he’s hoping to get into the studio with a top rapper.
He said: “I’d really like to work with Doja Cat, she’s amazing. I’d also like to work with Black Coffee, he’s amazing. Mark Ronson, too.”
I’m sure they’d be more than keen to get on board.

Idris yesterday released his latest track Pushing On, collaborating with Grey Goose vodka to celebrate the launch of it’s new tipple Altius.
Idris added: “Everyone speaks different languages, are different ages, but as soon as you play music, it’s just one frequency.”
