Good Morning Britain’s Andi Peters gets flirty with Susanna Reid as he volunteers to be her wing man
The hosts enjoyed some flirty banter on Monday's ITV show
ANDI Peters was JUST as delighted at Susanna Reid's return to Good Morning Britain as the show's legions of loyal fans and wasted no time getting flirty as he brushed her arm and gushed about "getting to touch" her in the flesh.
The ITV show's competitions presenter usually films his segments in sun-soaked locations and is rarely seen in the studio.
Yet Susanna and co-presenter Piers' return to their regular slots today also saw Andi's arrival as part of the panel, and he pulled up a seat right next to Susanna.
After the sports news Susanna cheekily put her hand on her hip and said: "It's the magic of the FA Cup you are in the studio."
Andi beamed a smile and replied: "It's nice to see you.
"I'm your welcome back present," to which an excited Susanna squealed: "I love it!"
Andi didn't stop with his flirty banter continuing: "It's good to see you I never get to touch you in the flesh!" as he delicately brushed her arm.
The pair then jostled elbows as Susanna said: "You're my wing man."
He then reassured her: "I know I will look after you, don't worry."
Yet mum-of-two Susanna was left ruing their "short lived" time together after Andi leapt up to walk to another side of the studio to present his competition segment, worth more than £150,000.
He told her: "Yes I'm going, I'm going over there.
"I can stay for longer but the show has got to go on."
Meanwhile GMB's loyal viewers were also celebrating Piers and Susanna's returns after their Half Term break and were hailed the "dream team."
Marmite presenter Piers came in for a whole lot of love on Monday morning, as he resumed his role on the ITV show after taking some time out to film other projects in America.
One viewer enthused the ex newspaper man offered “a bit of bite” with his direct interview style and another went as far as to say the programme “needs” the feisty Londoner.
Meanwhile Susanna, who looked glowing with a sunkissed tan, gushed she’d had a “lovely” half term break full of reading.
Yet in his typical style Piers didn’t shy away from controversy in his opening lines – taking the chance to refer to his decision to QUIT as host of the RTS Programme Awards after a campaign to oust him went viral.
