PUSSYCAT Doll Ashley Roberts has opened up about being given the boot from Saturday Night Takeaway and being replaced with Scarlett Moffatt.

Speaking to Bang! Showbiz, she said: "I don't really know Scarlett. I didn't watch the Jungle, and I haven't really seen her so I don't really know her personally.

"But I'm sure the boys are going to have fun with her, and she'll have such a fun time."

The 35-year-old singer-turned-fashion-designer also admitted that she thinks it will be a perfect match as the three will share the same "banter".

She added: "It's been a great run. I did four seasons with the boys and it's been awesome, I love them to pieces. I've known for a little while.

"Everybody reached out to me and we all had a nice discussion and it was handled well. Again, good wishes."

Meanwhile, Scarlett, 26, has admitted that she worries people will "get sick of her" after landing a series of highly sought-after jobs after winning last year's I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here.

Speaking to , she said: "I turn down so many things because I don’t want people to get sick of me. I refuse to promote anything on Instagram for money and I’m aware that I have to be careful about saying yes to anything."

She now has the career that many aspiring stars would kill for her and Scarlett revealed it all started for her when a TV researcher friend at York St John University asked her to help find families for a new show called Gogglebox.

She and her mum Betty, 46, dad Mark, 49, and her ten-year-old sister Ava went on to become fan favourites.

Scarlett revealed: "He asked me if my family would do it. We had two days to think about it. Me and my mum weren’t keen but my dad said: 'What’s the worst that can happen?'

"None of us really thought anything of doing it. We were just ourselves. It was bizarre when people started paying attention to us. I kept thinking, 'Why?'"

She continued: "I can’t think of a nicer way to get well known, doing a show like that with your mam and dad in your sitting room. All of it has been amazing.

"I don’t even care when bad stories are written about me that aren’t true. I know what’s true, my family knows what’s true and the response I get from people in the street is always great.

"People come up and hug me. Who could ever object to that?"
