Stephanie Davis reveals she’s feeling ‘content’ after spending time with ex Jeremy McConnell and their son Caben
STEPHANIE Davis has revealed she is feeling "content" after spending the past few days with her ex-boyfriend Jeremy McConnell and their son Caben-Albi.
The pair had been at war with each other for most of 2016 after Stephanie revealed her unexpected pregnancy news, but it appears the former flames have been able to spend a "lovely" few days together ever since Jeremy's paternity test confirmed he is the child's father.
New mum Stephanie gave her fans a slight update on Sunday evening as she shared an image which read: "A Sunday well spent brings a week of content."
Her followers immediately began to speculate whether her happy mood came because she had been spending time with her newborn son and his father.
Just the day before, Jeremy shared his joy and happiness after spending days in Liverpool with Steph and their one-month-old son.
Jeremy - who met Steph while starring on Celebrity Big Brother in January 2016 - took to Twitter to express his happiness late on Friday night.
"Had an amazing few days, feeling blessed," the reality star wrote along with a heart emoji.
Jez's update comes the day after it was revealed he had spent at least five days in Liverpool after rushing to be by ex-girlfriend Stephanie Davis’s side this weekend.
The former couple remain together in the North West as they continue to mend their damaged relationship.
A source said: “Jeremy is still in Liverpool with Stephanie at the moment.
“They’re using this time to get to know each other again away from the cameras and things are going well. It’s been an emotional couple of days for them both but they’re beginning to see light at the end of the tunnel.
“Jeremy was keen not to miss out on any more time with Caben and Stephanie agrees it’s important for him to be there.”
The Irish model made the unexpected trip to Liverpool this weekend to be with his baby and ex-girlfriend in a meeting that sources close to the couple say went “extremely well.”
A source said: “Jeremy spent the weekend in Liverpool and finally got to meet his son for the first time – and spent some time with Steph too.
“Caben is well and truly their priority now – nothing else matters other than the health and happiness of the baby.”
Their long running feud came to an end last week when the one time lovers held peace talks, which led to Jeremy’s stay this week in Liverpool.
The Sun’s Bizarre column revealed the pair were willing to put their differences aside after Jeremy, 26, confirmed he is the father of Stephanie’s son.
A source said: “Stephanie and Jeremy are back on speaking terms.
“They’re trying to rebuild a civilised relationship for the sake of Caben – they both knew that the situation had to change for things to move forward.
“It’s going to be a slow process but they’re gradually heading in the right direction.”
But close pals of the pair believe their truce could lead to further romance and that Jeremy visiting Steph in Liverpool could be the start of much more.
A source said: “There has always been a spark there even if it did end badly the first time round.
“They have a child together now – everything’s changed.”
