Mariah Carey confirms Bryan Tanaka is her boyfriend but insists the pair will keep their romance private
MARIAH Carey has officially confirmed her relationship with boyfriend Bryan Tanaka, but insists she does not enjoy talking about her romances.
The diva singer referred to the dancer as her "boyfriend" in a new interview and explained why she preferred to keep her private life under wraps.
Speaking to , Mariah stated: "I'm just going to be like 'I really don't talk about my personal life.' Because that what I used to do and it really worked for a minute, back, a while ago."
She added: "I just don't feel comfortable talking about my personal life... Me and my boyfriend don't want to do that."
The happy couple just celebrated their first Valentine's Day together, with Mariah posting an image from their romantic evening onto her Instagram page.
She certainly gave Bryan a treat as she showed off her cleavage in busty black swimwear paired with an expensive looking pendant necklace.
Mimi was all smiles as she clutched a glass of fizz and swam over to her lover, who opted to flash his bulging biceps as he sat surrounded by the Jacuzzi bubbles.
Bryan also chose to accessorise with a bling necklace for their pool date and they asked a pal to capture their moment with a steamy image Mariah then posted to Instagram.
She added the words: "Happy Valentines day!!" followed by the hashtags #happyvalentinesday #happy #moments #bubbles.
Perhaps Bryan had left bath time to whip up a Valentine's Day dinner as later on, Mariah changed into a stunning white bikini studded with metallic-coloured Hershey's sweets as she writhed around her tub.
She posted two pictures of her saucy antics inside a different bathroom, with the suite also adorned with the same candy as well as a host of pale pink balloons.
The yummy mummy uploaded the shots with #kisses and sweetie Emojis as she stared seductively into the lens.
Mariah has been all smiles since healing her heartbreak with Bryan.
Last month, she gave him a saucy surprise in the form of a lapdance live on stage.
In October, it was revealed that billionaire business man James had called time on his relationship with Mariah over her “extravagant spending” and disagreements over her fly-on-the-wall reality show Mariah’s World.
At the time it was revealed that James “allowed” the singer to keep her extraordinary £8 million engagement ring.
James popped the question to Mariah with a 35-carat diamond engagement ring back in March 2016.
Speaking to US website she then revealed she would put her emotions into song and said: “Ever since the tour wrapped I took some time just to process my feelings, and I started writing a song to express what I’ve been going through."
Meanwhile it was reported that the singing sensation is feeling "depressed" following her split from the Australian hunk.
A source told People magazine: "First the split didn't seem to faze Mariah. It was like she expected things to be fine soon. Now she realises that things aren't fine and not being with James makes her depressed."
