Top Gear filming descends into chaos as Ore Oduba and more stars lose control of their car and an ambulance is pictured on the track
TOP Gear filming appeared to end in chaos this week as Strictly Come Dancing champion Ore Oduba lost control of his car on the track.
The team were pictured as they filmed the Star In A Reasonably Priced Car/Star In A Rallycross Car feature, but it didn't all go quite to plan.
As Ore was snapped having a helmet fitted, he then took to the driving seat of a red Toyota sports car.
But shortly after beginning his lap, he appeared to lose control as she car skidded on to the grass when he hit the brakes.
While he appeared to be OK, an ambulance was pictured parked up beside the abandoned car shortly after to check over the star.
Ore was joined by presenter Rory Reid on the track, who is set to host the show alongside Matt Le Blanc and Chris Harris.
But Ore wasn't alone, as jockey Frankie Dettori and Olympian Max Whitlock both reportedly lost control of the car too, ending up in the grass.
Chris even had to give the car a push at one point - signalling none of the stars will make a record-breaking time.
They were joined for the segment by comedians Jon Culshaw and Shazia Mirza.
The shot is a million miles away from the more formal line-up that featured previous presenter Chris Evans.
When he was on the promo trail in February 2016, he was posing up with the three remaining hosts.
It’s hoped the three stars will be able to replicate the success of the show’s legendary presenting team Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond who are now the face of Amazon rival The Grand Tour.
A source said: “The new trailer clearly shows the BBC attempting to establish the hosts as a trio.
“They had such great success with the former team, so it’s no surprise they’re hoping the formula will work once more.”
