How old is Maeve Dermody and where is she from?
Maeve, 32, was born on November 2 1985 and grew up in Sydney, Australia.
Dermody was exceptionally talented at school and graduated from Mosman High School in Sydney with a near perfect University Admission Index score of 99.97.
Speaking about her academic talents, she said: "I think it's because people expect actors to be really stupid or to have dropped out of school at 14.
"It's not a fair call at all. Some of the most intelligent people I know are actors."
During secondary school she was involved in drama classes and the Australian Theatre for Young People before going on to study at the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Sydney.
What films and TV shows has Maeve Dermody been in?
Maeve was cast in her first film role as a child by her mother who is a film theorist.
Her mother Susan directed the film called Breathing Under Water which follows a "globally minded Australian and her daughter explore Sydney's dark side with a cab driver".
During secondary school she landed a role in Australian TV series All Saints but her first major film role was in 2007 thriller Black Water about a trio of people trapped in the magroves of the North territory by a Saltwater Crocodile.

Who does Maeve Dermody play in SS-GB?
Maeve plays resistance fighter Sylvia Manning in the BBC alternative history thriller SS-GB.
Sylvia is also the sometimes-lover of 's character, DSI Douglas Archer, who is investigating what appears to be a simple black market murder.
Maeve, who splits her time between London - where her boyfriend is studying for his PhD - and Australia, said filming in the English capital was "an amazing experience".
The TV series imagines what the United Kingdom would be like had the allied forces of World War II failed and the Nazi’s controlled London.
The series is based on the Len Deighton novel of the same name – in which Douglas Archer is a British detective who becomes embroiled in a Resistance movement after investigating a homicide.
Opening up about her character, she told Bradford Zone: "Sylvia is quite mysterious. She is working in the office alongside Archer. They’re in a romantic relationship, but she won’t commit to it or play along at Scotland Yard.
"It’s evident that she would rather put her life at risk and fight the Nazis. She works in a cell infiltrating the Nazis. The idea was based on the French Resistance.
SS-GB started on BBC1 Sunday, February 19 at 9pm.
