Towie’s Dan Edgar enjoyed a secret fling with new girl Amber Turner behind her boyfriend’s back

AN explosive Towie love triangle is sending shock waves through the cast after Dan Edgar spent the night with newcomer Amber Turner behind her long-term boyfriend’s back.

Hunky Dan split from his childhood sweetheart Kate Wright last year, and she has since started dating football legend Rio Ferdinand.

Now Dan has also moved on, and enjoyed a steamy fling with Megan McKenna's best friend Amber while filming the latest series.

Dan jetted to Tenerife to film the Towie special a few weeks ago, after struggling to come to terms with the end of his relationship with Kate.

There, newcomer Amber, 23, soon caught his eye, despite her being in a relationship with boyfriend Jamie Reed, 34, at the time.

Amber and Jamie have lived together for two years and dated for four - and Jamie had even told friends he was hoping to propose.

However, their relationship has been blown apart as The Sun Online can exclusively reveal Amber cheated on Jamie with Dan, just days after joining the cast.

A source said: “One night in Tenerife rumours started to whirl among the cast that Amber had gone back to Dan’s room after a night out.”

While they have denied anything happened off-screen to friends, The Sun Online can now reveal it did, and it’s no longer an innocent friendship between Dan and Amber.

A source added: “Bosses are furious as they wanted Jamie and Amber as their hot new power couple on the show.

“They have been together for four years, they even live together. They were the most solid couple, and no one would ever have expected this.

“They hardly ever had fights, and were totally in love. Amber’s not a party girl either, so this has come as a complete shock to the whole cast.

“Amber saw the heartache her best friend Megan went through when Pete Wicks was caught texting other women behind her back, so for her to do the same has shocked everyone on the show. It’s the last thing anyone expected.”

Amber has since moved out from her shared home with Jamie after he heard the rumours, and sources say he has been left “devastated”.

Club promoter Jamie previously starred on the show in 2012, and was known for his wild partying.

He enjoyed flings with many stars on the show, and sources said he was known as “a bit of a player” at the time, but he later settled down with Amber and their relationship looked to be set for the long haul.

Meanwhile Megan’s BFF Amber isn’t a stranger to the show either, as she previously dated Joey Essex.

The pair were linked just weeks after Joey rekindled his relationship with his ex-girlfriend Sam Faiers in 2012.

Jamie and Dan have a lot of mutual friends on the show, and have been spotted on nights out together, so this latest scandal is likely to completely split the cast.
