Robbie Williams fumes about Buck house spliff leaker… until he realised it was him
The cheeky star 'fessed up to smoking a join in the Palace gardens before he performed at The Queen's Diamond Jubilee Concert in 2012
ROBBIE Williams has opened up to The Sun about smoking a spliff in Buckingham Palace.
The ex Take That star told how he was furious when his long-kept secret was unearthed after five years – before remembering it was him who accidentally let it slip on an Italian TV show.
Responding to news, Rob said: “Somebody told me that had been in the news and I went and had a look and said, excuse my language, 'OK, which c*** has told them that?'
“But no, no, it was me, the c***. I genuinely was angry for a good hour.
“I was like, ‘somebody’s talked, somebody’s told them that, then I researched on the Internet and remembered it was me on an Italian TV show.
"We were playing a game of Yes or No and one of the questions was, 'Have you ever thrown up in Buckingham Palace?'
“I said, ‘No, I’ve smoked a joint’.”
Robbie, who has daughter Teddy, four, and son Charlie, two, with wife Ayda Field, 37, is not the first star to have misbehaved at the palace in Westminster.
John Lennon said The Beatles smoked drugs there before being awarded MBEs in 1965.
Fashion designer Dame Vivienne Westwood, 75, went commando to collect her OBE in 1992, while telly host Stephen Fry, 59, claims to have snorted cocaine there.
But Robbie has claimed his wild days are long behind him. The tee-total singer revealed he has not only quit booze, but his entire party life style and insisted he would snub the Brit Awards' notoriously lary after parties once he's performed at the bash next Wednesday.
He said: “I won’t be going to any of the after parties. I don’t drink, I don't go to parties. I go to work and I come home.”
