GAYNOR Faye is best known for her role in Emmerdale these days, but telly addicts will recognise her from a number of series over the years and now for her cooking slot on Lorraine.
So what do we know about the actress, who is her Emmerdale character and what other roles has she had?
Who is Gaynor Faye?
Gaynor Faye is a 46-year-old English actress who hails from Leeds, West Yorkshire.
She is the daughter of TV scriptwriter Kay Mellor (Playing the Field, Jane Eyre, Brookside) and the sister of Yvonne Francas.
Her first TV role was in a mini-series called Sharp End in 1991.
She is currently on our screens as Megan Macey in Emmerdale.
Does Gaynor have any children and who is her partner?
Gaynor has two children with her long-term partner Mark Pickering.
She has a daughter, Lily Mae, and a son, Oliver Mellor.
Speaking about acting out her labour scenes as Megan on Emmerdale back in February 2016, she said at the time: "I have to say, I never thought that I'd be doing any more labour scenes!
"I gave birth to twins in Coronation Street and I've given birth in a few other shows that I've done too. I've also given birth on stage twice.
"You kind of get to an age where you think, 'I'll never have to have another baby on screen again!' But then Megan got pregnant and ends up going into labour in the woods!"
Who is her character Megan Macey in Emmerdale?
Megan Macey is the ex-wife of Jai Sharma and the half-sister of villain Declan Macey.
She arrived in Emmerdale in February 2012 after her half-brother contacted her about getting involved in a big project.
In late 2013 she was involved in a storyline which saw Declan physically abuse her.
She later began a relationship with Jai Sharma, Declan's enemy, and gave birth to his child Eliza in 2016.
Megan was in a relationship with Frank, but he cheated on her with Charity Dingle.
Who did Gaynor play in Coronation Street?
Gaynor played a character called Judy Mallett in Coronation Street.
Judy was the wife of Gary Mallett and arrived on the cobbles in 1995.
She was killed off in 1999 after suffering from a sudden embolism that had been brought on from a car crash.

Gaynor Faye has appeared in a number of TV shows, including Peak Practice, Fat Friends, The Chase and Casualty.
She has also appeared in the stage adaptation of Calendar Girls alongside Lynda Bellingham.
In 2006 she took part in ITV's ice skating competition Dancing on Ice, which she won with partner Daniel Whiston.
In 2018 Gaynor launched a new food series on Lorraine, cooking up her favourite dishes.
