JAGGER'S 'SECRET'

Mick Jagger ‘dishes dirt on rockstar lifestyle in secret autobiography packed with juicy anecdotes’

The new book's revelations include a claim that he bought his country mansion while high on LSD

MICK Jagger has allegedly penned a secret autobiography stuffed with juicy anecdotes - including the claim he bought his country mansion Stargroves while high on LSD.

It also reportedly reveals how bored he grew of seeing bandmate Keith Richards’s “scraggy, monkey-like bottom night after night”.

And it goes on to discuss how his long-suffering mum was more horrified by his scruffy hair than his famous debauchery, and that he almost died when he once tried to ride a stallion.

But it reveals a quieter side to the 73-year-old star too - apparently explaining how he’d party hard after a gig, but beforehand would sit quietly drinking eight pints of water because he’d lose 10 pints dancing on stage.

A publisher says he has a copy of the manuscript and has begged the music legend to tell him whether it’s genuine or not, but the star has reportedly so far refused to confirm or deny he wrote it.

The 75,000-word document is said to have been written in the 1980s and came into publisher John Blake’s possession three years ago.

Mr Blake, who was the first editor of The Sun’s Bizarre column, told The Spectator: “Mick tells of buying a historic mansion, Stargroves, while high on acid and of trying out the life of horse-riding country squire.

“Having never ridden a horse before, he leapt on to a stallion, whereupon it reared and roared off ‘like a Ferrari’.

“He gave the stallion a thump on the forehead right between the eyes and slowed it down – otherwise the Stones’ story might have ended differently.”

He added: “It is an extraordinary insight into the one of the most influential rock stars of all time - but the sad thing is, the public will probably never see it.”

But the Daily Telegraph reported that Mick’s spokesman said Mr Blake has not been in touch with the singer and was unable to verify any specific incidents.
