New mum Stephanie is feeling full of love on this special day
STEPHANIE Davis has broken her social media silence and has marked Valentine’s Day with an inspirational message to her fans.
The single mum recently made amends with the father of her son, Jeremy McConnell, and it seems she’s carrying on the positivity in all aspects of her life.
Posting a picture of a glittery heart on Twitter, Stephanie wrote: “Each and every moment is precious.
“Appreciate simplicity. Be grateful and authentic in everything you do. Cherish those you love.”
After the cute message, Stephanie told her fans that her and baby son Caben-Albi were sending them all of their love but she deleted it shortly afterwards.
Fans of the former Hollyoaks star were touched by her sweet message, with many supporting her for being so strong through what has been a tough past few months.
One wrote online: “Impressed with how you have handled things recently with maturity and strength. You are doing Caben and your family proud.”
Another replied: “Hope u have a lovely Valentine's Day with your little man!”
A source said: “Stephanie and Jeremy are back on speaking terms.
“They’re trying to rebuild a civilised relationship for the sake of Caben – they both knew that the situation had to change for things to move forward.”
Some of their pals even believe their truce could lead to romance again.
A source said: “A few of their friends think something might even happen between them again in the future.
“Don’t be surprised to see them meeting up again – and there has always been a spark there even if it did end badly.
“Their friends just hope things can be civilised and they can move forwards.”
Their reconciliation came just days after Jeremy confirmed he was the father Caben Albi.
For now Stephanie is focusing on her young son however after a tense few hours following his birth.
In her interview with , where the 23-year-old proudly showed off her baby son for the first time, Stephanie admitted she was “a mess” when Caben-Albi was rushed to a neonatal unit after contracting an infection.
She said “We were in hospital for another four days because Caben had to be taken into the special care unit.
“When he was born we noticed a scratch on his head, which become red and swollen, so the midwife called the doctor to check him out.
“The doctor was worried he might have an infection, so they a cannula in his arm to give him some antibiotics.
“Over the next two days his infection levels were still high so they had to admit him to the neonatal unit to keep a closer eye on him.”
Luckily, Steph was able to stay with him in the neonatal ward and not be separated from her newborn.
She explained: “I only had to leave him for half an hour a day, which meant I could breastfeed him as normal.
"My emotions were all over the place because I was so worried about him. It didn't help that my hormones were all over the place - I was a bit of a mess, but I had to stay strong for him.”
