Perrie Edwards says Little Mix reunion is on the cards after break for solo career
PERRIE Edwards has confirmed that a Little Mix reunion is on the cards after taking a solo break.
The girl band, made up of Jade Thirlwall, 30, Perrie Edwards, 30, and Leigh-Anne, 32, announced a break two years ago after their Confetti tour wrapped.
Perrie has since enjoyed solo success with debut single Forget About Us already under her belt, and second track Tears, which is set to be released on Friday (21st June).
The pop star exclusively told The Sun at the Captial's Summertime Ball that a reunion could be happening in the next few years.
When I asked if she sees the band getting back together in the next five years, she told me: "I definitely think at some point, we just love each other, so I think getting back together at some point in the future is definitely an option.
"We haven’t really thought about it but we all love each other – never say never."

Perrie's debut solo single Forget About Us shot to the top of the iTunes chart just 24 hours after it released.
She told me how she's planning on replicating the same success of her first single ahead of her upcoming new track: "The second single is completely different sonically, a bit more Motown, a bit more groovy and soulful, a lovely vibe and that' son Friday.
"I hope everyone enjoys it because it is very different to Forget About Us. I'm excited!"
Little Mix - initially comprised of Perrie, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall - have all branched out into solo careers for 2024.
Jesy left the band completely in December 2020, later severing all ties with the bandmates, but the remaining girls carried on as a trio for two years before announcing a hiatus.
However, they clearly remain solid pals and have been seen celebrating the others as they head out into their own music ventures.
Leigh-Anne was the first to release new music by herself, with multiple singles now out including My Love, Stealin’ Love and Don’t Say Love.
Jade is also working at the studio to create her own tracks, having signed a deal with RCA Records in March last year.
Her single, Angel Of My Dreams, appears to take a swipe at Simon Cowell in the process, with the telling line: “Sold my soul to a psycho” - a reference to Simon’s now- defunct record label, SyCo — which the girl band quit in 2018.
Perrie admitted it was hard branching out on her own, she previously told Sian Welby: “I'm still subconsciously like, 'Jade, Leigh-Anne...where are you?' It's really bizarre, but it is exciting. Like, it's exciting that we're all doing our thing and, like, loving each other doing our thing.
“You know, you never know what the future holds, and I just I do miss them a lot. So this is random for me.”
It comes after fellow bandmate Leigh-Anne addressed the group's turbulent final years in her new autobiography Believe.
She revealed all three members of Little Mix secretly sought therapy after Jesy Nelson’s decision to quit the group turned into a PR nightmare, with bitter online fan wars and countless reports of fighting.
The singer, 32, said Jesy’s abrupt exit from the band in December 2020 left her, Perrie Edwards, 30, and Jade Thirlwall, 30, “traumatised” and needing counselling.

Leigh-Anne writes: “It was a complex and painful thing to come to terms with. We all felt it, that pain and sadness. The whole thing felt like a weird break-up, and I wasn’t prepared for it.
“I wasn’t prepared for the intensity of those emotions. The whole thing was abrupt and sad and then it was messy, which made it even more painful.”
