EastEnders’ Mick Carter disgusted with son Lee as he confesses to hitting wife Whitney
While Mick was disgusted Whitney found it in her to forgive Lee for his violent attack
MICK Carter has been left disgusted by his son Lee Carter's behaviour in EastEnders.
The Queen Vic landlord - who is played by actor Danny Dyer) reacted with fury when Lee (Danny-Boy Hatchard) confessed to hitting wife Whitney during a row.
"I hit her," Lee said as Mick struggled to comprehend what his son was admitting to.
"It all happened so fast, I got angry and I lashed out, but I regretted it straight away,2 he told a sickened Mick.
But as Mick ran out of the room in disgust, Lee shouted after him: "Dad she knows I didn't mean it. Dad."
After struggling to calm himself down, Mick confronted Lee about what he'd done but again he had no answers.
Meanwhile, Lauren Branning went to town on Whitney for putting up with Lee's abusive behaviour.
"He's hit you," she told her. "You know how I felt last time and this is a hundred tiomes worst. You don't deserve that. You've got to leave him."
"I love him, more than anything," insisted Whitney.
"The thing is Lauren, I think I am partly to blame. Because on Friday I did say things that were out of order. I pushed his buttons and he snapped.
"He's not been himself and he's under so much pressure. I'm not making an excuse.
Lauren: "It's not your job to fix him. You and him ain't been right for a while now."
"I don't want you to feel like you're stuck in a relationship that's clearly isn't working. Whatever way you look at it Whitney, something is not right.
"You deserve better, you can do better."
But Whitney wouldn't be convinced and insisted she wanted to stay with Lee, adding: "I don't want to do better Lauren. I want Lee."
Shockingly Lauren took Lee back, only insisting that he seek anger management, but Mick was disgusted.
