EastEnders star Jonny Labey and girlfriend Chrissy Brooke win Dance Dance Dance

EASTENDERS star Jonny Labey and girlfriend Chrissy Brooke have won the first series of Dance Dance Dance.

Lucy Jo Hudson and her pal Rohan Pinnock-Hamilton were pipped to the post for the top prize by the couple.

The final saw both teams perform four dances each in the hopes of receiving top marks from judges Ashley Banjo, Tina Landon and Timor Steffens.

The show is hosted by Alesha Dixon and Will Best.

It was a tight finish as Jonny and Chrissy clinched 120 points while Lucy Jo and Rohan were just short with 117.

Jonny and Chrissy clinched the winner's title with their moving rendition of Pink!'s Try for which they got a perfect score.

It'll come as no surprise to fans of the shows that the couple won the top gong as they cane top of the leaderboard on the first week.

Other stars, who were booted out throughout the series, such as Towie's Jessica Wright, JLS singer JB Gill and Emmerdale actress Fiona wade all came back for the exciting finale.

Speaking afterwards, Jonny said winning the show was "too good to be true".

Chrissy then gushed about her other half and thanked him for picking her as his dance partner.

She said: "Everything has been absolutely amazing, it's been so lovely."

They got a perfect score for their rendition of Pink!'s TryCredit: ITV

Viewers at home were delighted that Jonny and Chrissy won the show with one fan on Twitter writing: One wrote: "@jonnylabey & Chrissy were deserving winners. Their last performance was superb. Im going to miss this show on a sunday #dancedancedance."

Another said: "Massive Congratulations  to @jonnylabey and @Chrissy_Brooke u guys are amazing  Well deserved  #dancedancedance @DanceDanceDance."

While fans at home loved the new reality show, Dance Dance Dance has yet to be confirmed for a second series.
