Controversial Noughties rock frontman teases band are reuniting for epic reunion ten years after final gig

The star also lifted the lid on how his life would be like now compared to his early wild days

A NOUGHTIES frontman has teased his band is reuniting - 10 years on from their last ever gig.

Pete Doherty has left fans excited as he dropped the biggest hint yet the Babyshambles are making a comeback.

He told the publication: “Yeah, I’ve been hearing that. There have been whispers of that for a while, but now it looks like it’s actually coming together.

"You’d have to talk to Jai about that because I heard he’d met up with Drew [McConnell, former bassist] last week.

"I think there might even be dates pencilled in.”

The Babyshambles was formed by Pete in 2003, and included Mick Whitnall, Drew McDonnell and Andrew Ficek.

After 11 years the band split up in 2014 after performing a UK tour as well as shows in Australia.

Pete added that things would be a lot different now from his early days in a rock band now that he's settled down.

He said: “Well, for me it’s all part of the same journey. It’s just that I had other priorities, shall we say, for many years where it wasn’t that the music was secondary, but it was just that music always went hand-in-hand with a certain way of living.
