TRIBUTES have flooded in for Dr Michael Mosley after the BBC aired a TV special reflecting on his broadcasting career.
Fans were left stunned as the show looked back on his past experiments, including the time he swallowed a tape worm.
Taking to X, one fan said: "Just watching the Saint Dr Michael Mosley ‘love in’ on the TV. Jeez, the guy was crazy. Filmed everything, inducing tape worms, gut cameras, fasting, filmed losing weight, sleep depravation and guys with Ulcers."
It comes as Dr Michael Mosley revealed what he believed to be the most important factor in living a good life.
The BBC this morning released the beloved doctor's final interview, recorded as part of the Hay Festival in May.
During the interview, Mosley said a person's "relationships with friends and loved ones" are the key factor in living the best life one can.

Search area expanded
Mayor of Symi, Eleftherios Papakalodouka, told The Sun on Sunday that searchers had been looking for Michael Mosley in the wrong spot for the first two days.
The search area has now been expanded to cover a radius of 7km — or 4½ miles — including areas which officials have described as “treacherous”.
It is centred around Agia Marina which is 3km from Pedi and accessible only by foot or water taxi.
The fire service was exploring a sprawling network of caves, known as The Abyss.
The maze sits beneath a rocky outcrop off Agia beach and can fill rapidly with seawater.

Fears Michael Mosley could be ‘trapped’ in tunnel system
The mysterious disappearance of Michael Mosley took a new turn last night after rescuers feared the TV doctor could be trapped in an underwater tunnel system.
Specialists are investigating the complex network of caves known to locals as "The Abyss" amid fears the 67-year-old could have gotten into trouble - and maybe even swum to the "bottomless" caverns.
It is understood teams, assisted by the TV doctor's adult three sons and daughter, are now continuing their search efforts near The Abyss.

Dr Michael Mosley was feeling unwell before his disappearance, reports claim.
Greek journalist Ionna Niaoti told Talk TV: “It is understood that about 1.30pm local time, he said he was not feeling very well and he wanted to return home.
“So he went to a coastal path reaching the closest the village of Pedi, and this was the last time somebody saw him in Pedi.”
'We'll scour the entire area'
Investigators have promised to scour the whole of Symi in search of Dr Michael Mosley.
Speaking with The Sun, the security officer leading search and rescue operations in the southern Aegean revealed earlier today: "We'll retrace his footsteps, we'll scour the entire area.
"The arrival of the dog, trained by police for exactly this kind of situation, is crucial."

It is widely reported that Dr Claire Bailey and Dr Michael Mosley met on his very first day at UCL Medical School.
He had previously studied philosophy, politics and economics at New College, Oxford.

"The search is ongoing and our family are so incredibly grateful to the people of Symi, the Greek authorities and the British Consulate who are working tirelessly to help find Michael.
"We will not lose hope."
'You can't survive in this weather'
Mayor Papakalodouka told The Sun that Mosley had no water with him, adding: “You can’t survive in this weather.”
He continued: “He could have been walking for an hour.
“The search is covering a 7km stretch. The area is so difficult to walk. It’s so rocky.
“He wouldn’t have known where he was going. He could have got lost.
“Yesterday they were searching the wrong spot. We will not calm the search off but it could conclude today.”

Local claims to have seen Dr waiting at bus stop
Search and rescue personnel continued "combing" the island, and a sniffer dog and drones were deployed.
A Symi local has also come forward to allege that they had seen Dr Mosley standing at a bus stop.
The resident claimed they saw the TV doctor waiting at a bus stop in Pedi at 2pm on Wednesday - thirty minutes after he left the beach, Greek newspaper reports.
To reach the house where he was staying, Dr Mosley would have had to walk a path of about 1,000 metres and then take a bus, the paper wrote.

Divers joined cops, volunteers, and firefighters in the massive search for the missing British star, feared to have "fallen" on a walk.
Dr Mosley is said to have left St Nicholas Beach on the Greek island of Symi alone about 1.30pm on Wednesday to return to the place where he was staying with his wife and two others in the village of Pedi.
The path he is thought to have taken is rocky but only takes about 10 minutes to walk, said the mayor of Symi, Eleftherios Papakalodoukas.

Dr Mosley’s brother, Arthur, yesterday said: “We are very shocked and perplexed by what has happened. His children have now all gone to Greece and are walking the path trying to find him.
"We know as much as what the police and the media has reported, and hope there’s a good outcome.
“Unfortunately, when you get to Michael’s age, accidents like this can happen."
He said his brother had been in “good spirits” before he went on holiday.
Rescuers fear Michael took 3-HOUR trek along perilous path
Search teams believe the Brit dad-of-four went missing after embarking on the hike through rocky terrain on the Greek island of Symi.
Images not shared with the media are said to show him later walking up a treacherous mountainous path from the town at about 2pm.
Two rescue workers told The Sun it is very easy to get lost along the trail as it goes inland and doesn’t follow the sea.
The path is a three-hour route back to Symi Town, where Dr Mosley was staying with his wife Dr Clare Bailey, 62, and another couple who they are friends with.
Authorities using all available resources
Search and rescue teams aided by a sniffer dog were today focused on retracing Dr Mosley’s last known steps on Symi.
Every available coast guard was deployed as locals branded the doctor’s disappearance “strange”.
Divers were said to be “looking into the water” with the help of the Hellenic Coast Guard after search personnel “looked everywhere” else, the island’s deputy mayor Ilias Chaskas told BBC News.
A sniffer dog was brought from Athens to walk the same rocky path Dr Mosley supposedly took alone to get back to his accommodation, and all CCTV footage captured by Pedi businesses was examined.
